The Sound Diary - Chapter 02

Join Hausman as he looks back on his releases from 2023, mixed together into a cohesive journey. 

Hausman kicked off 2023 with a club-ready remix for Awakend and April Bender, his first outing on Enhanced's main label. Shortly after, he released his Elden Ring inspired banger "Radahn", which turned the head of Armin van Buuren and earned him a spot on A State of Trance Ibiza 2023, and remains high on the Beatport charts almost a year later. In the following months, Hausman joined a new label family in Argento with a remix for Dan Stone, mixed an edition of the Anjunabeats Rising Residency, and played a direct support slot for his biggest inspiration, Mat Zo, but it wasn't long before he returned to his home label of Enhanced Progressive with another trance anthem, this time teaming up with Tara Louise for "Forever". His first long-form project on Enhanced, Hausman dazzled with the "Meant To Be" EP, snagging his second #1 Trance Release on Beatport and his third add to the Spotify editorial playlist "Trance Mission". The success of this EP doesn't stop there, as the title track got a classic trance remix from Nitrous Oxide, as well as a deeper interpretation by Hausman himself under his new deep alias, "dwelyr". This new project continued to blossom, beginning with a remix of Death Cab for Cutie, and capping off the year with an original track on Sekora. The tail end of Hausman's year saw release of his third collaboration with Discognition, a melo-prog remix for Alex H, and a festival-ready remix for 28mm and Julian Gray, but nothing could compare to the honor of mixing Enhanced Progressive's Best of 2023 compilation, which capped off the year with a bucket-list tick.

Hausman's 2023 was marked by career highlights and huge announcements. Following a wildly successful 4 year run of his radio show, he announced a rebrand in the form of "Clubhaus Radio", with plans to launch a record label by the same name next year.
