I know it's kinda late for something like this, but I made this to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of Serial Experiments Lain. This is a mix I've been working on for about a month, give or take, and is meant to be a reimagining of the original Cyberia Mix Soundtrack from 2003, however, it differs drastically in its tone and song choice. Instead of this project being individual tracks, it's a DJ mix playing out almost like episodes of the show. idk I just wanted to be artsy LOL. The goal of this project was to keep the vibe of show while also showcasing how the internet has shaped the music of the 2000s and onward, emphasizing how weird, exciting, and complex electronic music has become. This mix is split into 5 different layers each with their own sound and character respectively.
