Kaltfront - wenn es dunkel wird

Von der Doppel-LP "Live 1988" (Rundling RL 19, 2018). 
Die LP "Live '88" von Kaltfront war im Jahr 2000 einer der ersten Releases des Rundling Labels. Kaltfront waren zu dieser Zeit inaktiv. Der Erfolg der Platte war bestimmt auch ein Grund zur Reunion der Band. Der Konzertmitschnitt aus Cottbus wurde auf der ursprünglichen Version nur ausschnittsweise veröffentlicht. Viele Jahre war die LP nicht mehr erhältlich. 2018 jährt sich das aufgenommene Konzert zum dreißigsten Mal. Das ist Grund genug, zum ersten Mal, das komplette Konzert auf einer schönen Doppel-LP zu veröffentlichen. Auf Seite D gibt es zusätzlich vier Songs einer Liveaufnahme aus Görlitz, in ebenfalls richtig guter Qualität, zu hören.

Kaltfront - Störfaktor (Teaser)

In 1986, KALTFRONT was formed by ex-members of the underground punk bands PARANOIA and SUIZID in Dresden, East Germany. KALTFRONT played a lot of shows in East Germany and recorded a couple of demo tapes, but it was impossible for punk bands to realize records in the GDR. In 1989, the year of political change, two band members left the country and in the early 1990 the band broke temporarily apart. Nevertheless in the 1990s and early 2000s copies of their tapes were spread in Germany, so KALTFRONT gained a certain cult status. Finally in 2005 the time was right for a reunion. The following shows proved that the music and the lyrics of KALTFRONT kept their relevance in the "new" system as well. Rundling Records and East Side Records released a new album "Zwischen allen Fronten" in December of 2011.
