Podolski and Tyrell are the main actors in this play. I had downloaded the two plugins Podolski and Tyrell N6 from the Berlin company U-HE and experimented with them. The result is "Podolski plays on Tyrell". The Podolski sounds in particular remind me of 80-90s popcorn sounds and in places of the TV series Knight Rider :-)

The piece developed from a session reminiscent of crime movie music. The main character is a distorted Podolski synth.

Once again I fell for the cinema style and turned down the tempo a bit. The protagonist of the track is the synth Diva from u-he.

"Research flight to identify the problem" is about brave researchers who travel by plane to document environmental destruction by big industry. For the first time, I used the great synthesizer "Zebra" from the Berlin company u-he on this track.

The track is about how children are real heroes and often make better decisions than adults. When you talk to children about the Titanic, you realise how incomprehensible the hubris of the adults in charge back then seems to them. It probably would not have sunk with a child as captain :-)

Grussli was born Norman Lizurek in Nuremberg in 1971 and lives with his wife and three children in Erlangen. As a teenager, he played with his first band "Lighthouse" in the school band of his high school. At the beginning of his studies in business administration, he bought his first synthesizer, a DX-7, which he used together with a Yamaha MU-80 tone generator and Cubase as a sequencer. After a long musical break, he started working with Ableton Live in mid-2022. Once a week he takes lessons with certified Ableton trainer Nils Hoffmann and since then has regularly released tracks in various genres. His main instruments are an electric piano and Ableton's Push midi controller. For Grussli, the fun of music and the positive effect of music are absolutely in the foreground.
