Once we heard Vance Joy's "Riptide" we were addicted to his voice so we went through his catalogue and came across "Wasted Time". The original is very much a folk song but there was something to the melody and lyrics that made us think we could do something special with it. We sped it up a bit, and then it all clicked. New Genre - Folk House.

So Betty Who is one of my favorite new pop artists and if you're not familiar with her music yet I hope this remix will make you a fan, cause everything she and Peter Thomas do together is incredible.  'It's a perfect day for a fight' is my favorite opening to a love song in a while and everything about this track just screams summer, sun, and poor decisions in the back of a convertible.  Put the windows down, turn the volume up, and go get lost to this one.

Also I know artists always say this but for real GO LISTEN to Betty Who's stuff cause she is a rockstar!

Crazy But True-
1 - I heard an actual human being use the phrase The Boys Are Back in reference to the Entourage movie this weekend
2 - Pied Piper's new lawyer in Silicon Valley is also Lloyd Braun from Seinfeld which is just phenomenal casting
3 - "It's a perfect day for a fight" is a surprisingly good opener on Tinder
4 - The guy who sleeps in the hallway outside my studio told me "That track is nice, brother" after hearing this.  He then asked me to buy him a Pepsi, but only in a bottle, for reasons which remain unclear
