December's #cwupchallenge was to compose a song reflecting upon 2019 - I didn't have a lot of my equipment while travelling, but I did have access to a piano, so I took full advantage of that! Not a whole lot of practice, it's a pretty rough recording.

I started off with a short theme to represent how the year started off - at home on vacation. After that I quickly head into a theme to represent my final semester in college, and ramping up with the stress and excitement of graduating.
After graduating I started work, so I did a take on the theme songs of the two shows I've worked on - one shorter than the other since I was only on it for a month.
We gradually move back into a similar theme as the beginning, as I head home again for the holidays to spend time with my family.
I put some Magpie noises in there because I love them dearly, and since I see them more often in winter, they are absent for the middle of the song.

This is the first track I've ever completed, and what a better way to do it than to make a dance track hidden within a soundscape hidden within ambiance hidden within industrial. I hope you enjoy this project as much as I enjoyed making it!
