The track "Different" is a bit more energy, with  a massive bass drum to create a marching vibe. On the other hand, "Rush" takes us into the world of acid techno, in its original form.

Ramiro Lopez releases "Gsus" on his latest LP with Odd Recordings named Al Retortero. The track opens with eerie tones and a vocal sample that resonates with the overall dark feel of the track. Once those techno kicks start slamming in, the track really takes off and will surely get you moving. 

In his own words Ramiro describes his process for the full Album:

“Everything is quiet. The perfect time for me to create. Most of the tracks from my album started this way, with my mind still connected to my dreams.

To be honest, I never thought I’d release my first album in a moment like this but I believe that this unexpected and challenging situation has come with the biggest opportunities too; you just need to be open to them and be thankful that they have come your way.

I tried to focus on what I feel and like, forgetting about styles and without boundaries. Some of the tracks will make you dance, others come from deep inside, but they are all made with love.

“Al Retortero” is an expression from ‘La Mancha’ that my mum (the wonderful Candi) used to say to me when I was a kid. It brings me lots of old memories and it means that you have a lot of different things running around in your mind that all seem to connect despite the chaos. It perfectly reflects an honest disorganised mess of mine, I could explain further but let’s leave the music speak.

Deep Therapy is a techno label based in Canada, and its new release features remixes from The YellowHeads and Sam WOLFE alongside original tracks by Karim Alkhayat.

Karim Alkhayat is a Syrian artist who along with previous releases on Deep Therapy, has also featured on the likes of Codex, Reload, Orange Recordings and Say What? Currently based in Dubai, he is a regular performer at many of the country's top clubs and festivals.

The YellowHeads had previously worked with Karim Alkhayat when they signed him to their label Reload, but this time, the duo of Spanish techno titans are remixing his music. Regularly located inside Beatport's Top 10 techno tracks, the guys have released music on imprints including Kraftek, Filth on Acid, We Are The Brave, Octopus and Suara.

"The Last Trip" opens the release with its fluttering synths, rumbling bassline and pounding kick drum. Leading towards an epic breakdown it builds dramatic tension before reaching a crescendo when the percussion slams back in.

Track two is The YellowHeads remix of The Last Trip, which strips back the track to its core elements to focus on the kick drum and dark atmospherics. Building suspense, this sinister version unleashes a ferocious barrage that's set to light up the dance floor with frenzied excitement.

I started producing these hard beats and synths, but still wanted to implement a feeling that repetitively burns into people's mind on the dance floor. Along with my friend AEYA we categorised some stages into "darkness" (nightlife and the typical club surroundings), "intensity" (walls of sound, strobes, escalating people), "oblivion" (getting lost in the situation), "unconsciousness" (physical collapse) and what you see next, a blazing bright light that suddenly surrounds you, "brightness". I recorded AEYA's voice saying these words, added a tinnitus sound which starts at 3:25 or heavily after the second drop at 5:13 and the track was finished. 

Brightness: I always loved uncompromising, straight techno music with dark attitude. When I recently had this interview with techno pioneer and former Mayday artist Christopher Just on my techno radio show „Sophisticated Rhythms“ on Evosonic Radio, we spoke about raves and events, especially in the 90s where people totally escalated on these still revolutionary new sounds until they sometimes even collapsed. I am a child of this era, too and wanted to create a track that reflects the different stages of such an experience.

Nobody Knows: I am a fan of inconclusive utterances. I started producing “Nobody Knows“ to reflect people's ignorance in understanding things in so many ways, but think they know it all . The sounds that I used give the track a certain drive and energy, but leaves listeners a little bit in the dark at the same time, due to their dissonance style. There's a bunch of melancholy paired with influences of dark Detroit stabs that create an ultimate and deep club feeling. I loved the idea of bringing these banging old school hihats into the game after the tracks' buildup at 0:55 and to generate a kind of unpredictable sound with the low-frequency synth that evolves here and therre and leads throughout the track. The threatful voice has been added as a final element. It's my own one, layered, down-pitched and passed through diverse filters.

Gryphon presents a brand new artist on the label. Wain, real name Tom Wainwright aged 22 is a Lancashire based Techno DJ and producer. At the early age of 11 Wain fell in love with electronic music. Listening through different genres as he got older he soon discovered techno. Attending his first festivals and music events at 18 Wain developed a taste for hard hitting techno and instantly wanted to create his own sound. Wains style of Techno is always evolving - starting off at 130bpm he is now moving forward to faster groovier sounds. You can be sure to find your feet moving to any of Wains tracks. This year will show the latest productions ranging from 135bpm to 140bpm, all while keeping his signature sound. He has also started up his own event series - Techa Events. A tech-house & techno showcase which debut event was sold out in Manchester, Following that Techa was taken to Liverpool which was the best one to date! There is plenty more to look out for with this event series. Wain has received early support from DJs such as Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Thomas Schumacher, Sara Krin, Boxia, Shay De Castro, Bermio, Atroxx, Anita May, Paxtech, Fabio Red, Sam WOLFE, Vanessa Sukowski & many more! Nikolay Kirov - The Silence Ends Here [Say What]

The idea for "Apostle 303" started when I found a vocal sample from a church choir. I thought this choir would fit very well for a very memorable acid techno track that is authentic and not just another acid techno track from anyone. So I tried to turn the idea into reality and produced an acid techno track with a big epic choir.

"Paradox" - Since I am a huge fan of big atmospheric breaks and heavy drops in techno, I tried to create a drop with big drums, a heavy rolling bass and strong synthies for "Paradox". For the break I tried to get a lot more atmospheric with some choir chords and an almost trance like melody combined with some breakbeats to keep the groove interesting and danceable.
