This is something I've made because I'm lately only in the mood to shout for peace, since the world we're living in now it's becoming more and more scary.

These two songs came out in 2003, in the context of the US war on Iraq. This year 2024, and lately this decade, feels like a spiral downwards to doom and misery. All fronts would rather see the world a living hell than compromise just a little and de-escalate.

For that reason, because I'm fucking tired and sad, I say no to war. There's not much we can possibly do but hope something happens that changes the minds of the powerful to make them see this is not beneficial for absolutely anybody. Let's wish for ceasefires and for negotiations, and not for vengeance and the old an-eye-for-an-eye. Justice is not made with bombs and threats, nor with murder and annihilation, but with diplomacy.
