, Tshaka Matthews was born December 3rd 1991 in the thriving heart of West Philadelphia.
As a young child she would sing at church and perform in front of family at differs gatherings and events.
Tshaka has always been involved in the musical world, having attended the creative and performing heart highschool where she gained the musical knowledge she would need to kick start her career.
Although she is a young artist most of Tshaka's musical Inspirations come from some of the first great innovative legends such as Michael Jackson, Prince, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey.
She may be an old soul but Tshaka tells us that she enjoys the fresh new music from today's artist such as seven steeter, August Alsina, Bryson tiller and jhene aikio.
This Philly artist has been known around the city for her whimsical vocal abilities and her exotic appearance due to her west African and Portugal background.
