It moves between classic, soulful hip-hop over spaced out interludes to Sofa’s very own brands of funk. Together with his main producer for the last 10 years, Lord Akton, he now shares this compilation of tracks that did not made it to his past released projects. Under The Influence #7 : Lord Akton 'Spectator Mix'

Enafos delivers a slow paced journey in the 8th mix in the Under The Influence series. Enafos explains: 

The mix is a blend of edits, shortened or rearranged versions and beats. The common thread or dogma surrounding the whole mix is that all tracks have been played back at 33 RPM, with normal +/-8 pitch range (applied appropriately). The particularly nice thing about 45s is that you can slow them down considerably. 

Outright horrible tracks can be transformed into lovely sounding pieces of music, when changing pitch and tempo. This is what I have attempted to do. Far from all tracks in this mix are rubbish in their original pitch, but the transformation horrible tracks undergo simply by playing back the record at a slower speed than what was intended, is what I have enjoyed the most.

First track from the forthcoming debut record by the danish rapper Sean Lightfoot and producer Solbjergis. Their album 'Arosei'(ancient word for the cuty of Århus) will be out on October 18th on vinyl and digital via GSM.

Dostlar Vol. 1 is the debut release from the Copenhagen based producer Teit Voss. In the past couple of years he have spent his weekends in the darkness of  a Nørrebro basement searching for the best bits and pieces from his vast collection of Turkish psych records from the 60s and 70s.
