"The Beginning of the End (From Soulless Point Game)" is the third soundtrack release for the game Soulless Point, in development by Per Triangle Productions, released on August 18, 2023. This EP further intensifies the immersion in the psychological horror of the abandoned asylum, combining sounds that oscillate between the disturbing and the deeply melancholic as the player progresses in their solitary escape—all built within the Godot 4 engine, resonating with the atmospheres of Half-Life 1 and Portal 2, but with a PSX aesthetic.

The EP opens with dark synth-pop tracks, where dense synths and processed vocals create a somber mood, accompanied by horror SFX and electronic timbales reminiscent of distorted ritual beats. As the soundtrack progresses, it enters the realm of ambient and atmospheric music, with wide soundscapes, drones, and textural layers that amplify the feeling of tension and absence of time.

The final track surprises with the introduction of an acoustic composition played on piano and saxophone, with a clearly narrative and emotional vocation. This passage can be categorized as reflective jazz or melancholic jazz, evoking farewell, nostalgia, and the humanity behind the yearning for escape.

This unfolding—from dark and menacing synth-pop, through foreboding sonic ambience, culminating in sensitive sax and piano—functions like a micro-narrative arc in music: from conflict to emotional resolution, from darkness to emotionally charged silence.

"The Beginning of the End" reinforces Ramon Inc.'s talent for creating tracks that not only accompany gameplay but also narrate the player's experience through music.
It's the sound of doors opening onto darkness—until a sax blast announces the end of the nightmare.

Eihwaz stands in mythology for the tribe of the world tree Yggdrasil, which connects heaven, earth and underworld. It is the gateway to the worlds outside Midgard. EIHWAZ also stands for self-defense, victory, competence and foresight.

María Sabina Magdalena García was a Mazatec sabia, or curandera, who lived in Huautla de Jiménez, a town in the Sierra Mazateca area of the Mexican state of Oaxaca in southern Mexico. Her healing sacred mushroom ceremonies, called veladas, were based on the use of psilocybin mushrooms, such as Psilocybe cyanescens. María Sabina was the first contemporary Mexican curandera, or sabia (one who knows" to allow Westerners to participate in the healing ritual known as the velada. All participants in the ritual ingested psilocybin mushroom as a sacrament to open the gates of the mind. The velada is seen as a purification and a communion with the sacred.
The voice of this edit is taken from the documentary "Maria Sabina Huatla" by Jimenez Oaxaca. The documentary is about Maria's life, a very wise Shaman. It shows her life and how she threated people from all around the world (including The Beatles) with magic mushrooms and her knowledge of them. MOP took the words from the documentary and "covers" them with amazing music delivering a pure rollin Shamanic beauty!

In a biological concept, “Symbiosis” portrays dependency relations for survival between two different species, being then a permanent association.
Reflecting for us, human beings, we can then think about the importance of preserving each and every environment, in which it contains millions of these relationships that are destroyed and killed every day. And it affects us directly.

On November 16th, Murillo Faleiros' birthday (@mandruvamusic) is celebrated.
Start / end of a cycle, one more lap around the sun, celebration of victories, defeats, learnings, knowledge and experiences. Especially in the troubled year of 2020, the idea arises to start a new project: a compilation among artist friends. And in this first edition, it will be in celebration of that special day.

Visual artist Gabriel Engster with his project @a.la.gabs.art that signs the new series of covers of Bioma, started from imagery references of cacti and body parts as inspiration for the drawings, and then abstract them in multiple experimental compositions of graphic art correlated to the sounds of each release.
