In these days were all the electronic music gets faster and harder, we are happy to start this Imprint Serafin Audio, to share some beautiful slow music with you. With this and all the upcoming releases we want to present you the huge variety of slow sound. We want to show that House and Techno with all its energy and physically moving vibes is not bound to any tempo, especially not the 120 BPM.

 

Our first EP Is the SlowMotion Debut of Steffen Kirchhoff from Rostock, Germany. Steffen is a DJ, Producer and LiveAct who is heavily inspired by ritual and spiritual music all around the world.The first track „Soulsong“ which features an ritual chant by Yvonne Seelensängerin interwoven with organic percussions and mesmerizing pads and melodies , invites you to listen to your inner voice and reconnect with your spirit. Next up is „Native“ a track like musical medicine which supports and reinforces the spirit of the native american indians who lived togehter in tribes and gahtered to celebrate the beauty of life & nature. The title of „Yajé“ refers to Steffens own psychedelic experiences on a shamanic journey with Ayahuascsa. It is the fastest and darkest track of the EP and invites you to dance with your shadows, the hypnotic groove and heavy bassline. After having faced your inner demons „Gaia“ helps you grounding your experiences and lets you feel the unconditional love of our mutual mother earth.

Steffen Kirchhoff feat. Yvonne Seelensängerin - Soulsong

After two highly acclaimed compilations featuring great international artists, the Austrian ‚downtempo’ label Heimlich Musik releases the first official EP by Basel-based Boris Muscheidt alias ĂVEM. The 20-year old newcomer proved his talent as an electronic music producer on his very own label LOKD. Additional releases on Cosmic Awakenings or Casa Caos have been well received within the community. His debut EP on Heimlich Musik – called ‘Nuages’ –  is packed with two originals and four remixes by Bernstein, Oberst & Buchner, Arutani and Dandara. The title track ‘Nuages’ – french for ‘clouds’ – features spoken words by Victor Hugo ‘on vit, on parle’, who is an inspiration for ĂVEM. The speech serves, according to Boris, to show creativity and melancholia at the same time. The deep rolling bassline is accompanied with celestial pads and dark, melancholic melodies. This melodically rich track serves as a powerful soundtrack for rainy autumn days. Vienna based Oberst & Buchner used many elements of the original in their remix. By adding guitars, a 303-like-acid-appreciatorsynth, percussions and pads they found a way to add colour and energy with a fluid, intergalactic mixture of synths and organic parts. Dandara’s version of ‘Nuages’ takes on a deeper but also more minimalistic approach to the original. The drums, percussions and pads are more groove-oriented. Combined with Victor Hugo’s speech it merges to swell in a symphonic ride. ‘Nyx’, named after the Greek goddess of the night, the second original by ĂVEM is even darker. The baseline feels like diving into a deep dark abyss in the ocean. The song gets lightened up by high synth notes flowing with a LFO and percussive tinkles that seem to reflect rays of light. Power and intensity is formed by the suspense of the composition. Bernstein’s interpretation is accelerated by about 10 BPM. The dark atmosphere of the original yields a huge panorama, shimmering synths and delayed percussions, which shine bright like a water surface mirroring sunlight. Twinkling sounds and warm synths create a fresh, vivid feeling. Arutani’s Super Mario remix is a beat-based version mixed with a hammering, yet jumping bassline. The remix is packed with harmonic and dissonant sound effects; one of them is the sound of Super Mario jumping. All in all, the EP offers an interpretation of what a dark autumn or winter night sounds like. It is the perfect soundtrack for this time of the year.

Hello, goodbye and whatever's inbetween, fellow humans.

It took quite a while but we are insanely happy now that it finally happened! @Arutani is back in the Drojo.
Our strayed brother in the ongoing battle against tempo, came home to the nest and brought us and you some heavy hitters.

His "Howling" EP is as dark as night, hard as teak and weird as life itself.
Starting of deeply, the first basslines aren't far away, just to put Arutani's signature spell on your feet. Sounds like wizardry to us, but who are we to judge, right? 
Rising upward, punching bad vibes all around, slapping sense into some dark corners, just to come back down again and put you out of your winter blues.

Accompanied by genious twists from his LOKD buddy @AVEMsdream, angelicly voiced @ANGSTvorGRETA and our dearest coffee junkie @Haunted_Water, who also did the mastering once again and a beautiful artwork by @Puninja; 
this release is our way to reminisce over the passed year and give a warm welcome to the next!

Arutani — Howling

Voyager EP is a deep journey into the lucid, organic world of the avant-garde multi-instrumentalist/producer ‘Captures’. It is a collection of three tracks with three uniquely contrasting vibes yet a common thread of live percussion, uplifting melodic instruments and soulful groove. 2020 is set to be a big year for Captures as he is primed to release a large body of work over the coming months with Voyager EP being the first step of the journey. Having spent some time on the magical Lake Atitlán, this EP carries a special energy of Guatemala and is the perfect fit for the dreamy, hypnotic sound that is Resueño.

In 2019, @arutani became active for the @keller label for the first time. With the remix for the song “Verbrennungsmotor” by Acud and @beatmoertelz, he made a significant contribution to the spread of the Fusion 2019 hit. Now his own EP is coming out on KELLER, which is extraordinarily deep. Sweet melodies are immediately broken by marshy, deep bass structures. The three originals are joined by two remixes by @brigadeberlin and @acud. This powerhouse calls for a dance floor. Fingers crossed!!
