As Russia continues its invasion of Ukraine, gas prices remain high around the world. Europe is dependent on Russia for about 40% of its natural gas supplies, and despite the expansion of renewable energy over the past two decades, that dependency is increasing as countries shift to gas from dirtier coal. Putin’s attack on Ukraine has put this reliance into sharp focus as Europe considers how to respond. Madeleine Finlay speaks to our environment correspondent Fiona Harvey about how Putin has weaponised Russia’s fossil fuels, and how Europe could reshape its energy supplies for the future. تتزايد آلام المفاصل والصداع ومؤشرات ضعف المناعة في حضور برد الشتاء، ربما لأن الإنسان المعاصر أصبح أكثر هشاشة في مواجهة البرد، وفي ظل أسباب مختلفة مثل نوعية طعامنا، جلوسنا الطويل على المكاتب، عدم ممارستنا للرياضة، التفكير المتواصل وضعف النوم، كلها عوامل تلتقي مع برد الشتاء فتصيب مناعتنا في الصميم. 

تطرح الإعلامية أمال العريسي أسئلة مختلفة حول مناعتنا والحفاظ عليها شتاء مع البروفيسور يحيى مكي الخبير السابق لمنظمة الصحة العالمية، والمختص في علم الفيروسات والمناعة.

 أدهم الشرقاوي ,هي رواية تحكي قصة حب في زمن الحرب؛ فطالما زجّ النّاس “الراء” بين الحاء والباء فانتقلنا من أجمل ما عرفه الإنسان _وهو الحب_ إلى أسوأ ما عرفه، وهي الحرب”، بهذا يستهل الكاتب الفلسطيني أدهم شرقاوي حديثه لمراسلة “فلسطين”، الذي دار عن روايته “نبض” التي صدرت حديثًا، ويمكنك _عزيزي القارئ_ أن تطلع على بعضٍ من مقتطفاتها التي سنوردها في السياق. تقع الرواية في أربعة فصول، في فصلها الأول يحكي عن الحرب ومآسيها، ويسردُ لحروب ماضية لم يتعلم النّاس دروسها، ويمزجُ بين الماضي والحاضر، عن ذلك يقول “قس بن ساعدة” (وهو الاسم “المستعار” المعروف به الكاتب): “حاولت أن أقنع القارئ برؤيتي، وهي أن الحرب وأسبابها ومشعليها هي نفسها في كل زمن، ولكن المقاتلين يتغيّرون”.
