I made this after a pretty grim depressive burnout slump in 2022, copping the brunt of a quickly changing social and musical environment and feeling alone on the outside of it.

Its been 4 years since I put out new music. Over lockdown I retreated fully, burnt out in many ways. It also coincided with a studio move and overhaul of my studio process. As I started to make music again, I instead focussed on the simple joy of creating with with zero thought about sharing it publicly. I have never enjoyed making music like I do now and I think it shines through in these tracks. This EP represents a new chapter for me and I am excited to share the rest of it as well as a bunch more music over the next 12 months.

Drift Into The Algorithm

Drawing on his heritage, London-based DJ and producer - Flaurese brings to the fore a range of influences that are combined with a keen understanding of the here and now for the first of two singles ‘Love Go Higher’.

A fusion of nostalgia and contemporary dance music, Flaurese blends sparkling piano chords with gritty synth stabs.
