What you hear is what you get. Blunt's music based on goremageddon’s lyrics and some modern snail trail horror of riffs. A little bit of gore and a little bit of old-school and doom. The perfect ingredients to create a bunch of merciless songs. 

Blunt Guillotine was originally formed in the spring of 2011 by Guermo T.H.A. Kelly. Mid-2013, he decided to quit. After a year he reformed the band and proudly announcing newcomer Ernstjan Penninkhof (ex- Pentasyllabic) as second Lead/ Rhythm guitarist. After a while they finally decided it was time for a new band name, something shorter… but still very rough. They go further as Blunt without the Guillotine. You can imagine this was a really hard decision for them!

The sound of Blunt is a combination of stoner, sludge, old-school and doom with some modern riffing. Where Blunt not stands for is the mainstream sound like most other bands today but the rough mixed sound you heard in the 90’s.
