In this episode they just can’t seem to shut up as they talk for nearly two hours (please do listen though, we promise it’s good) about everything from the UK Kid’s terrible promos to the message boards they used to frequent. Episode 17 - Use Your Illusion 4

Join the gang as they delve into one of the most iconic early PWG shows (purely for the title alone), Free Admission, Just Kidding! On this episode we find out who Los Rojos Locos REALLY are, a big mid show title match between Frankie Kazarian and Super Dragon and the debuts of some dudes named Kevin Steen and El Generico. I wonder what happened to them... Most importantly we continue everyone’s favourite segment, Curious Guerrilla, with fun to be had for all. Sit back, relax and ponder why they had such an important title match on a show where they couldn’t have made it the main event with the rest of us.

Episode 21 - All Nude Revue

We’re all guns blazing towards All Star Weekend, but first the gang all gather to pay their respects at The Ernest P. Worrell Memorial. Which took place five years after the death of beloved actor Jim Varney, someone your four hosts definitely knew.

The show features a fantastic debut in Chris Sabin, Talwar and the true Hook gunning for hookers in Tijuana all whilst Chris Bosh is making us all feel incredibly uncomfortable. This is 2005 PWG. And stick around to hear how the Gang got on with their G1 picks and who they think would have the WORST match with Super Dragon. Get into it!

All the stars are out for PWG’s first All-Star Weekend! Then some have to leave for the 2nd night… but fun is still had getting stuck into the hijinks from the beloved Hollywood-Los Feliz Jewish Community Centre. We say hello to some new names like James Gibson, say goodbye to the coolest man alive Frankie Kazarian, who definitely will not be back in PWG anytime soon, and see some major title changes. Also, the islanders answer all your burning questions, featuring the hot topic of the roast dinner tier list. Be careful and look over your shoulders, it’s Friday 13th! PWG jumped on this opportunity for their aptly named show, Jason Takes PWG. Tune in to hear a lot of Steen and Generico love; post their big Wrestlemania 39 moment, as we shed a tear over SBS and their future, ponder over email addresses of yesteryear and get angry about a lacklustre main event featuring some of the absolute greats of the business. It’s an episode featuring a lot of wrestling talk (for once) with scoops you’ll never get on any other podcasts, like who is the best cook in PWG?

Episode 00 - Welcome to Guerrilla Island

Welcome to the maiden voyage of our journey through Guerrilla Island. Join the gang as they discuss the humble beginnings of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla straight from the City of Industry. With questionable commentary, moves and ring gear – it’s a debut for the ages for both company and podcast.

Episode 01 - The Debut Show

The four bad ass mothers assemble to discuss the tournament to crown PWG’s first ever champion, the Bad Ass Mother 3000. Set over two nights, the tournament has some highs, lows and ohehohehos.

Episode 02 - Bad Ass Mother 3000 Night 1 & 2

The sexy trio of Excalibur, Disco Machine, and Super Dragon return to the commentary booth as we go back to the Future with Frankie Kazarian's first PWG title defence, squaring off against the Fallen Angel and the Phenomenal One. Listen in to all the antics from the Westside Jewish Community Center, featuring the debut of the Arm Drag Drinking Game and a musical number. In addition to this, Emma provides a valuable Oatmeal Update with quotes from Mr. Old School Memphis himself. Say goodnight to Gracie and get adequately prepared to listen.

Episode 03  - Are You Adequately Prepared to Rock?

Our intrepid travelers find themselves on the front line this month, as Joey Ryan battles Super Dragon in the first ever Guerrilla Warfare match. Plus, the PWG debuts of CM Punk and Samoa Joe send the gang on a trip down memory lane, to an oft-forgotten blogging site and an origin story for the ages.

Episode 04 - An Inch Longer Than Average

Pimpin' ain't easy; and neither is podcasting. 

The gang concludes their adventures through 2003 with 'Pimpin' in High Places,' as they muse on the debuting Havana Pitbulls, the returning Jardi Frantz, infamous backstage promos, the questionable humour of 2003, and the even more questionable tan of one BJ Whitmer. Plus; a timely reveal of The Best of 2003, in the show's first ever year-end awards.

Episode 05 - Pimpin' In High Places

In this episode, the Islanders gather to breakdown the infamous Tango & Cash invitational, the tournament to crown PWG’s first Tag Team Champions. Featuring the incredible Super Dragon/‘American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson team, a handsome Scott Lost and some much beloved returnees, this discussion is not one to be missed. Listen in as we regale tales as old as LiveJournal and have a lively discussion about the PWG Championship Title scene.

Episode 06 - The Tango & Cash Invitational Night 1 & 2

As we enter the Highspots-era of PWG, the hosts deal with new levels of wacky editing, and bid a sombre farewell to their beloved entrance songs. But it's not all bad! Grudge matches abound, as bitter rivals (apparently) Samoa Joe and Shannon Ballard do battle, as well as SBS clashing with the Ariel Express and Chris Bosh. Plus; noteworthy title matches, ranking the Rocky movies, amusing match names, and more wild, out of control brawling.

Episode 07 - Taste the Radness

With the fierce rivalry between Frankie Kazarian and Adam Pearce seemingly coming to a close, the gang were excited to see something fresh and new in their favourite Southern California promotion. So they got Frankie and Adam facing off in a tag-team match. On this show we also have the REAL fiercest rivals; Ebessan and Kuishinbo Kamen squaring off and the long awaited Guerrilla Games. Who’s side are YOU on? On Episode Eight of Journey Through Guerrilla Island, ICP members will be discussed, laughs will be had, Richard and Judy will have aired on some terrestrial TV station and questions will be answered!

Episode 08 - 88 Miles Per Hour!

In this month’s episode, we kee_ the _ee out of _WG’s _ool! 
With the dust not settled from last month’s Guerrilla Games, tensions are still high, and we have the small matter of the second ever Guerrilla Warfare match to attend to, in addition to the previously announced tag title match between X-Foundation & Quicksilver/Bosh. 
There’s a 3 on 1 handicap match (sort of), AOL messenger commentary and the dream team of Joe and Am Drag, who will definitely co-exist! - all you could want from a 2004 independent show, which begs the question, what was your first Indy DVD?
Lastly, we get the answer to the burning question, just where in the world has C. Edward Vander Pyle gone?

Episode 09 - Kee_ The _ee Out Of Our _ool!

Get your dresses out of storage and dust off your tuxedos, we’re going to see a musical! 
This month the gang sit front row to witness the carnage that Chris Bosh and his not so merry men wreck on the land of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla,  ponder whose side Scorpio Sky is on, lose their minds over the sheer insanity of Teddy Hart (yes, it’s THAT show) and marvel at the thrilling final act featuring the epic battle for supremacy between Samoa Joe and Bryan Danielson. Plus, questions from the audience and a very special epilogue from our World Champion.
So shine those binoculars and grab the champagne flute, it’s PWG The Musical!

Episode 10 - PWG The Musical

There’s 44 ways to kill you with a pimento. They say that current state of the PWG world title scene is the first way; with what feels like the never ending feud between Pearce, Babi Slymm and of course Mr. Cool, Frankie Kazarian, as they all make their return from their infamous Las Vegas jaunt. Apart from that, this show sees a formation of a Disco led group, our first tag title defence and a beloved Tag Team depart from PWG. Wait, did I say beloved? I meant be-loathed! Get your podcast apps fired up as 4 hungover islanders take you through it all, never really finding out the remainder of the 43 ways to kill you with a pimento.

Episode 11 - 44 Ways To Kill You With A Pimento

Who is Tommy Williams, why is he wearing Funky Billy Kim’s gear and where did he come from? These are questions that need to be answered on this episode of Journey Through Guerrilla Island. We say goodbye to the Thomassellis, hello to Steve Corino and experience Sexual Tension (and Aggression). Title matches with surprising results, surprising participants aaaaand Steve Corino. Also, find out who would the gang condemn to the neighboring Love Island. Get ready to jump head first in to the mosh pit for the most rockin’ show of the year!

Episode 12 - Rocktoberfest

What a wild ride it’s been but we finally reach the conclusion of the tumultuous Kazarian/Pearce feud. A brutal cage match is the Reason for the Season, which will see one man say goodbye to their PWG career in a beautiful new venue (which definitely has a 2Pac tribute on its walls). 

Also in this episode our islanders discuss the cult of the NJPW dojo, with Ricky Reyes as their dear leader, Samoa Joe’s sweet camo vest and Joey Ryan as a second rate superhero sidekick. It should be said, there is also some great wrestling on this show, featuring CM Punk vs Super Dragon amongst other delights. 

Finally, is Super Dragon.... Joe Pesci? Oh well you’re in for a treat of an impression on this show dear listeners.

Episode 13 - The Reason For The Season

Queue 'The Boys are Back in Town', the Islanders are back after a hiatus and find out The Secret of the Ooze! In this episode, it’s clear that Mr. Frankie Kazarian is no longer the coolest man in the world and all signs are pointing towards Colt Cabana being a 3 time Illinois State Hungry Hippos champion replacing him. We are introduced to yet another new faction in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and talk up a storm about a first time ever dream match between Samoa Joe and Super Dragon. Curious Guerrilla does not disappoint with a ton of early 90’s TV talk, which begs the question, what Power Ranger and TMNT do the gang most identify with? Find out on the triumphant return of Journey through Guerrilla Island.

Episode 14 - The Secret Of The Ooze!

Never has there been a better example of PWG's creative genius than with the title of their next show... 'The Next Show.' It's time for SoCal's 'First Family' to take centre stage, as World Champ Frankie Kazarian takes on our beloved Samoa Joe. While Edward Vander Pyle leads the team of Brad Bradley and bad guy Babi Slymm into battle against the kings of the opening match; Human Tornado and Super Badd. Elsewhere, it's another dream match of the era, as Super Dragon faces off with Chris Hero! We're also treated to more twists and turns in the relationship between Disco Machine and his one-show protégés Charles Mercury and Top Gun Talwar, the return of Hook Bomberry, the Dangerous Players in six-man tag action, and much more! And to cap it all off, we have a HUGE edition of Curious Gorilla, answering your questions about PWG and beyond!

Episode 15 - The Next Show

This retrospective podcast sees four friends from Ireland talk (somewhat) exclusively about a Californian pro wrestling promotion, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG). Barry, Zig, Sarah and Emma gather to reflect on shows gone by, filled with laughs, anecdotes and wrestling chatter.
