The first reference is by Superbreaker. A pseudonym in front of an artist with a long career in electronics, dedicated to other styles and who now lets out all the groove that he has accumulated since he was young and that he has rarely let out.

Imagination is a Breakbeat track in the purest 90s style, full of nuances and nods to top songs.
Energy and fun in equal parts where a super forceful rhythm sweeps, giving way to several sirens and alarms that catch our attention. A track in constant evolution that provides guaranteed fun time.

SUPERBREAKER

A pseudonym at the head of an artist with a long career in electronics, dedicated to other styles and who now lets out all the groove that he has accumulated since he was young and that he has rarely let out.

It encompasses a multitude of styles within Breakbeat such as Hardcore, a variant of Happy Hardcore drawn towards House or Electro. Trip Hop and Hip Hop have been around a lot in the 90s with different formations.

A music collector from a very young age, he has gone through countless styles and musical stages, being Jazz and Funk constant throughout his career and, in turn, a source of inspiration and samples for his productions.

His work routine includes all kinds of technology that brings some sound and creativity. Akai's Mpcs are his favorite and that's where most of his rhythmic foundations come from. He tries to mix the feel of the Breakbeat songs of yesteryear with the modern sound provided by today's technology to remove that thorn nailed in his early production.

Despite the infinity of samples and phrases used in his productions, he always tries to emulate and include that sound from real instrument recordings. His musical knowledge allows him to play the piano, bass and guitar without becoming a master of any of them.

UNBEAT RECORDS

UnBeat Records is a digital profile record label, dedicated to BreakBeat music in general and in turn is a sub-division of Guerrilla Records. Created to channel productions that do not fit in the line of the main label and thus make known productions that otherwise would not see the Light.

Based in Malaga, Andalusia, in the south of the peninsula, where in the 90s and part of the 2000s the BreakBeat sounded at full volume on every radio, car or rave, we could not avoid going through a stage of our youth in which the Broken rhythms will flood our lives We DJ, dance and produce thousands of hours and songs of this very energetic and special genre. We also enjoyed Drum & Bass and the evolution of Hip-Hop in the 90s.

The second release of UnBeat Records is here, bringing more styles and nuances to our catalogue.
Superbreaker is once again the protagonist and this time brings a theme with an acid character and slow evolution.

A super forceful rhythmic base with a less electronic sound but without departing from the genre. Acidic sounds that never go out of style create a somewhat gloomy club atmosphere where you can twist your body and let off steam while dancing.

A song composed under the baton of an Akai hardware sequencer and some classic synthesizers such as the Roland JV2080 or a Yamaha CS1X. All this later mixed in a hybrid environment between digital and analog, obtaining a very desirable result.

The third release from UnBeat Records is a remix of a song of our older brother Guerrilla Records. The remix is signed by Superbreaker and promises to move the dance floors.

In the purest Electro Miami style, Superbreaker returns to the fray with a remix of a song already released at the big house, Guerrilla Records. Original Matt Correa and the vocal contribution of Masterdeep, Superbreaker gives a twist to the original tracks by placing them in a very different environment. Miami-style electro with which it is intended to create movement on the dance floors.
The voice of Masterdeep leads on this track where we find classic electro elements from type 808 and 909 drum machines with a different treatment than usual.
This release is headed by the official video clip. A piece of animation and graphics created from video clips. Frame by frame has been drawn on these, creating a classic rotoscopy and then it has been digitally treated.

Soul Intentions returns to Guerrilla Records at the helm of a reference with two remixes of their latest single. Fighter In Da House Remixes is a revision of a previous work, reference GRML026 from the Guerrilla Records catalogue. In that single we find two original songs with very forceful elements, recognizable in this new installment.

Fighter and In Da House return with two remixes created during the period of pandemic and confinement. These two remixes are a brilliant way to come full circle and freely expose a series of unusual but necessary elements to create this hypnotic and progressive environment. All produced under the strict command of its two Akai Mpc2500, which provide a special character to the final result.

These remixes are included in Matt Correa's live shows like Soul Intentions, where he unleashes live adaptations of his most recent songs, all recreated from two Akai MPCs. An apparently simple set due to its configuration in which he improvises on his own compositions.

Matt Correa's new ep sounds like Electronic music and is full of energy and good dancing. 4 original songs composed between 2013 and 2022 and that come to light in August 2023.

The new one by Matt Correa sounds like electronic dance music and is made up of four songs produced over the last ten years. Dance electronics with indie dance and tech house nuances. A multitude of background sound effects create and narrate different day-to-day situations in an indirect way. Arpeggiated synthesizers, filtered chords, deep basses and rhythms with a certain disco touch.
A fairly complete ep in terms of stimuli of all kinds, where we can find the essence and style of Matt Correa, even leaving his comfort zone.

These four songs have been produced in Matt Correa's studio, which has changed over the years. Initially in 2013, these songs were meant to be played live with no intention of releasing them to the digital market. In 2015, a series of old synthesizers fell into the hands of Matt, a temporary loan from Ramon Navas “Flyfluss”, with which he configured a versatile set to compose and play live. Among them an Oberheim Matrix 6R, a Yamaha TG33 and an Emu Proteus World. All this on a stable base directed by an Akai MPC2500, Matt's faithful companion since the 2000s.
Matt later recovered these tracks and extracting anything salvageable from the original projects, he set out to update and release them all together as one ep, using his current studio setup, which is still under the control of two Akai mpc2500s and various synths and boxes. of rhythm. All this under the watchful eye of a Midas Venice F32 mixer. It is also common in his studio to find some Reel2Reel or an old Tascam M-208 that he uses to saturate signals and give color and texture to certain instruments.

All this has led him to acquire extensive experience in the industry and expand his horizons by creating a platform to express his outlook on the industry and his deepest musical tastes. Without guidelines and barriers preset, Guerrilla Records will be the speaker to raise Matt Correa's voice.
