Echoes from Agartha is an experience that exists in the center of Music, History, Culture, and Culinary to stimulate the senses and connect to your core. This is a 4-day odyssey to Cappadocia, the heart of Anatolia an area also known as “Cradle of Civilization” for the number of innovations that arose from the early societies in this region, which are among some of the earliest known human civilizations on earth. On July 28th, we welcomed our community to one of the most breathtaking locations in the world to be part of an unparalleled adventure. A gathering designed to elevate your frequencies offering the best in music, culture, Turkish cuisine, and workshops in the naturally and historically rich Turkey. We are excited to showcase the unique features of the ancient land of Cappadocia and its culture as the center of our experience.

This mix feels like starting an exciting new chapter in my musical journey. Today, 4 years after my first mix was released in Amsterdam, I'm proud to put up this recording, to serve as a bright memory of starting an exciting new chapter with the beautiful people over at Levantine House ( instagram.com/levantinehouse )in Amsterdam's newest beach club on the IJ @ KAAP (Thanks for having us 🎪❣️). It was such an incredible true family gathering, with a tribe of humans who I have grown to love and respect over the last 4 years since we connected through the music community here. After two long years of uncertainty, limbo and isolation, it truly was an emphatic experience playing music in a packed club again. The vibe was palpable, as we all needed to collectively shake it out🙌🏾 

That night was a true musical communion. My heart is absolutely full. Seeing you all out there, and the energy bubbling forth out there, the beautiful smiles and raptures of dance and celebration together at the end of the long dark (and for many, isolated) winter days was completely energizing, and also brought out my best that night.

I felt loved and seen by you all, and you all got to see feel and share my emotions along with it. I cannot wait for the next gathering! Thank you all so much habibis! We are back! The year is 2016. Britta Arnold, space-girl, love child and musical jetsetter meets Unders, world-traveller, mad scientist and former Tin-Tin impersonator. It was here that two mirrors met, two ambitions joined and two styles merged to create what is now known as Britta Unders. Whether playing music to weekend ravers, swinging in the studio shaping emotions into sound, or casually planning their creative futures involving bus trips, mobile studios, remixes, releases and beyond, these kindred spirits are inhaling and exhaling each moment like the full moon does the tides. It’s natural. After their auspicious meeting at Britta’s Grrr Mit Brrr party in the magical country of Kater Blau on the banks of the river Spree, much was to happen for our spirited duo. In a matter of months, the chemistry between them had already created an EP for Katermukke, a remix for Jonas Saalbach on Einmusika and remixes for Nico Stojan & JAW, Be Svendson and Arman Miran.

For Britta, who co-founded and managed the Bar 25 label, and
Unders, with twenty years of experience in the electronic industry as both DJ, producer and promoter, this combined love of music, life and international globe-trotting created an unstoppable flow. Soon they were playing at some of the most reputable gatherings around the flat earth: Bachstelzen stage at
Fusion Festival, Shoeless parties in Old Mokum, Woomoon in Ibiza — then Burning Man and New York through to South America, Africa and their home stomping grounds of Europe. Together, their productions and DJ sets are spacious, tripping, techy and transportive. But somewhere, there is also a bearded shaman in neon playing the Glockenspiel while channeling the spiritual music of the world. Simply put, this is the sound of an extremely bright future.

When I started playing the sun was almost finished setting and a beautiful full moon was rising. The weather and the colors of the sky were so perfect! I hope my recorded set from that evening gives you similar feelings we all felt there!

So maybe I shouldn’t try. Or I just don’t care about it?
Pablo asked for a little intro about my set in the tie-up night with Robot Heart when I played the Mayan Warrior art car, so here we go:
Every night, when the Mayan Warrior art car leaves its camp on it’s way to the deep playa it feels pretty sublime, like a wake up call for the rave kids with this drum beats, like a ritual where they follow it’s spiritual leader, the warrior dancer follow their flagship art car, it’s getting more and more crowded, surrounded by hundreds of bikes and of course I’m super nervous entering this elevated Dj booth, shaking from the bass or is it just me? And from one moment to another I am in the middle of lasers and fire, I am taking over the booth and after a second I’ve forgotten every fear and just start playing...
