This is a composition inspired and dedicated to the poet Pablo Neruda, and his extraordinary Love for Life and living things. "A rotten trunk, what a treasure! Black and blue fungi gave it ears, red parasitic plants covered it with rubies..."
It was composed for guitar, violin and cello, and recorded at Swedish Radio and Television Studio 12 in 1996.

Esta é uma composição inspirada no poeta Pablo Neruda, e no seu extraordinário Amor à Vida e às coisas vivas. "Um tronco podre, que tesouro! Fungos negros e azuis deram-lhe orelhas, plantas parasitas vermelhas cobriram-no de rubis..."
Foi composta para violäo, violino e violoncelo. Gravada no Estúdio 12 da Radio e Televisão Sueca em 1996.

Instrumental Music & Poetry. This composition was released in 1997 with the GUI MALLON ENSEMBLE on the CD Brasil, Brazil. In 1999 we made a new release in a duo format, which is track 06 of the CD/BOK Fly (1999 Subluna). Gui Mallon performs the guitar with Glauko Santos on rap.  Glauko's text depicted our abomination over the cultural and political imperial power that TV GLOBO (the Brazilian "TV Coup d'état") keeps on the minds and souls of many Brazilians.

Músico, compositor, escritor, artista.
FORMAÇÃO:
Nascido no Rio de Janeiro. Se formou em Teoria e Harmonia pelo CBM-Conservatório Brasileiro de Música, estudando posteriormente Composição e Regência com Guerra Peixe e Alceu Bocchino, na Escola Villa-Lobos. Em New York entre 1983 e 1989, se aprofundou em jazz, música eletrônica (Center for the Media Arts) e escreveu música para publicidade e teatro. A partir de 1990 se estabelece na Europa em Madrid 1990 a 1992, onde estudou a guitarra famenca e na Suécia (a partir de 1992), onde fez pós-graduação em Artes (Escola Superior de Artes Valand, Universidade de Gotemburgo) e desenvolve sua carreira internacional.
