A mix I recorded to commemorate our dear friend Árni Grétar, also known as Futuregrapher among other aliases, that passed away at the beginning of this year. All of the tracks in this mix were written and produced by him and it clearly shows how versatile of a producer he was, with his music spanning the scale from slow, soothing ambient drones to hasty drum and bass tempos.

Árni also held an important social role for the Icelandic electronic scene by organizing and being part of events and labels such as Weirdcore, Extreme Chill, Móatún, Intellitronic Bubble and many others. May you float on in ambient space, breakbeats and acid lines until eternity when we meet again brother..

We really had such a wonderful time on 24th Aug 2025 when we were testing the headphone set-up for the MLD goes silent sessions, what turned out as a first edition of Elektrik Café Berlin, together with our collaborator Gijs Gruijters, playing a wonderful modular set under his artist moniker SHIFTY, together with He Ling and Bian Bian from China and also a set from Sai, what you can listen here now 

Everything was glued together smoothly and the sound with the bluetooth connection is really great! The whole concept builds a wonderful atmosphere with the gloomy headphones while sitting inside, diving into the music and the venue, also with video art installations... or sitting outside in fresh air, watching people passing by and inviting them to join. A big thanks also to Krumm & Schief Café at Prenzl Berg, who lent us their nice venue as the perfect location for this project. Biography: 
Michel is a passionate Dj and Producer since 1998. Vinyljunkie, based in Erfurt, Germany. For more than 20 years he has been an integral part of the Thuringian electro scene. He has shaped and developed his music with time. While the first phase was still characterized by Techno, now his sound includes Dubtechno, Ambient and Lounge. In his new Podcast Series called "We Are One", Michel wants to get together talented artists from all over the world. We are one because music connects! In 2025, Michel launched the label "We Are One AUDIO Tension". He also recently recorded a special mix for the anniversary series DUBBISM 5YO!
