Shankara launch their sophomore return to the Shanti Planti space station to broadcast their new release; Transmission. Radiating other-worldly signals from the limbo of space, Transmission assumes the state of weightlessness in the vast vacuum between worlds—severing the tether to terrestrial boundaries as sound-waves emerge through the dark matter, gyrating in and out of perception. 

Coded with sub-frequency and apparitions of psychedelia, Transmission is rooted in earthly dub cadence while it’s tendrils reach towards the borders of territories unknown. Scattered with visions of foreign forms and taunted by memories of sapien life; Shankara serves to intoxicate the listener with the unique phenomenon of interplanetary drifting, all while remaining stationed within Earth’s gravitational pull. Gui from Argentina, Litoral region. After venturing into several groups and instruments (drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals), Gui discovers the world of musical production and founded Expedizion in 2008.
Since then the project works as a base of sonic experimentation, always looking for a sensitive, emotional, mental and spiritual expantion, without forgetting the rule of the 4 sacred L’s: Listen, Live and Love Life !

"Expedizion's psychedelic downtempo dub music has ascertained a certain character which is unlike any other. Taking influence from the likes of IDM and Dubstep and infusing them with the most cunning structures of world music. Melodies and glistening textures which suggest to the listener, a time of ritual and deep spiritual awakening and understanding is beginning to envelope our collective third eye. The natural rhythmical percussion shall transcend your body upon a dance which flows like the unpredictable fall of fragrant oils, heated and then condensed as it slides down sheeted glass."
