"Hei Zambi" was released in Brazil in 1976 on vinyl 7", 33 ⅓ RPM by the label Chantecler. Francisco Egídio perform two songs: Funeral D'um Rei Nagô and Hei Zambi. "Hei Zambi" was written by Walter Norambê and arranged by musician, arranger, composer, producer and orchestra leader Elcio Alvarez.

patrícia polayne is not only an amazing singer-songwriter and one of the most important artists from my state - Sergipe, in the northeast of Brazil - but she is also my sister. since i was a kid i knew she would be an amazing artist and i'm proud to be her first fan. and because i'm a fan, i'm always a little scared of using one of her songs and desecrate her incredible music, but i'm also not known for having much sense, so here it is. this is a live-edit made with the vocals and some drums of her unfinished song "a roda" in which i added some effects, percussions, beats and samples from miret and venga venga, spaniol, nana vasconcelos, francis etto and mrux.
