Alberto Toffoli è la chitarra del Piave. Nessun altro musicista è in grado di trasformare in musica il suono di questo fiume, nessun altro riesce a trasmettere il blues dell’acqua che scorre e delle vite che accanto ad essa brulicano come fa lui. Il blues di Alberto è l’urlo del fiume, e per capire e comprendere appieno questo grido, questa passione e questo rapporto tra uomo e ambiente e tramutarli in musica, Alberto ha girato il mondo facendo tesoro di tutto quello che ha incontrato e conosciuto: Houston, Austin, Chicago, Bruxelles, ogni città gli ha insegnato qualcosa. Alberto suona la chitarra e porta in giro il suo blues da più di 20 anni ormai; totalmente autodidatta, inizia a combinare i primi accordi all’età di 16 anni e da quel momento non passerà giorno in cui non suoni e scriva canzoni. Questo è  il suo nuovo disco  “ Heavy Love “ frutto di anni di sacrifici, rinunce, amore, lacrime e sorrisi un mix fra blues. Soul.R&B , Pop ,Rock …ma proprio questo, in fin dei conti, è il blues di GuiatrBo’. Buona ascolto!

Alberto Toffoli is the Piave’s guitar. No other musician is able to transform into music the sound of this river; no one else can hand down the blues of the flowing water and the lives that live by as he does.
Alberto’s blues is the scream of the river, and in order to fully understand this cry, this passion and this relationship between man and environment and to be able to transform them into music, Alberto has traveled around the world treasuring who he has met and what he has known: Houston, Austin, Chicago, Brussels; every  city has taught him something.
It ‘s more than 20 years that Alberto plays his guitar, spreading his blues all over; totally self-taught, he began to combine the first chords at age 16 and by that time not a day has passed without playing and writing songs.
“Heavy Love” is his new album; the result of years of sacrifices, renounces, love, tears and smiles: a mix of blues, soul, R&B, pop, rock… exactly as GuitarBo’ s blues is.

GuitarBo’, nick name for Alberto Toffoli, was born in the province of Venice.  At an early age he became impressed with the sounds and rhythms called blues.

Therefore, he started listening and playing this kind of music.
What fascinated him day after day, were those sounds and scents he had never seen or smelled before: they entered straight and fast into his life.
He started his journey as autodidact, until he knew an eclectic Venetian guitarist, Roberto Ortolan who,  session-man for well-known Italian singer-songwriters, introduced him to the powerful blues by the Texas born Stevie Ray Vaughan and BBKing. 
His style, little by little, got better and then he entered the “Lizard” school of modern and contemporary music, in Florence, where he studied for a couple of years.
GuitarBo’ grows thanks to the influences of the Chicago Blues, BB King, Mussy Waters, the funky sound of Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, the soul of Ray Charles and Etta James, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett and the rock of Hendrix, but also winking to jazz guitarists such as Kenny Burrell, Wes Montgomery and Grant Green.
In 2000 he played in Austin, Texas, where he could get in touch with the Blues’ greatest such Jimmy Vaughan and Alan Hayens and he could play in the club of the capital of music. 
Back in Italy, in 2001, he recorded his first Cd “Live in Darshan” that was self-produced with the typical sound of the “power trio”.
In the meanwhile, he played all over the Veneto region.
He won the “Emergenza Acoustic” contest in the Veneto region and he participated in the National final event.
The same year, he recorded his second cd “Movin’up” featuring new songs.
He played in Rome, Milan, Livorno, Florence, and Bologna.
He collaborated with the native-American singer-songwriter Yowan Nagwetch and he played in Belgium and The Neatherlands.
He collaborated and still works together with well-known Italian blues musicians such as Enrico Crivellaro (master of blues guitar) and Marco Pandolfi (Magic Harp).
Recently, in 2013, he moved for a while to Chicago, IL, in order to record some pure Chicago blues and to find the inspiration for a new cd.  The inspiration has come!!
2014-2015 will be a new season!
There is a new album coming out, featuring new songs and old feelings, 9 original soundtracks and 3 covers with a base of blues contaminated by soul, funk jazz and rock music.
