Wrong Way

Wael Malaeb is an independent Lebanese guitar player and music composer who is currently the lead guitarist at L.O.C.A.L.S rock band. Born in a family of musicians, he started playing the guitar in the year 2002 at the age of 15. His father "Kamal Malaeb", who is a professional accordion player helped him initially and provided a huge musical background for him to learn from. Wael started playing Spanish guitar and classic music. In two years, he started playing electric guitar and got interested in the blues/rock genre and classic rock music which he adopts as his favorite. After four years of playing covers in several live festivals, Wael started writing his own music.
He was a guitarist as part of the band Pulse in the year 2009 in which he played for 1 year before they got separated. After that, he went on other projects with different artists.
Wael met Rafi Metal, a vocalist/bassist and decided to start a rock/metal band together in early 2013 specified in original music. They audited several drummers before they met Chadi Abu Zeid, a talented Lebanese drummer. In March 2015, Wael had his first major professional contribution to the Lebanese rock scene as part of the band L.O.C.A.L.S where they released their first album, The Ignorant Dreamer. This is a concept album consisting of 6 songs on which Wael was the lead guitarist. 
During a live performance, Aron Roterfeld the lead singer and music composer of Austrian band Roterfeld saw Wael's talent and asked him to be part of his concert in Lebanon.
Wael is known for his great guitar touch in most kinds of music, variety of techniques, charisma, and entertaining presence on stage. He also contributes to music by working as a guitar teacher independently and previously in several schools. 
According to Wael, "A guitar is not a music instrument. It's a world of music."
He is now working on his first Rock/Blues and Psychedelic solo album featuring several artists from different nationalities.
