Sebastián Farfán aka Gukumatz nació en abril de 1993, empezando en el campo de la música desde muy joven se ha convertido en un productor de música psicodélica experimental que te mueve a una dimensión diferente con sus melodías. Lanzo su primer EP Genetic Whirlpool a finales del 2014 con la productora D-A-R-K Records de Canada, siguiendo VA Compilation - Organic Dreams lanzado con Samsara Records, y actualmente funge como productor Independiente. Además, ha aparecido en varias compilaciones V/A con labels como Rumbling Earth Records (Guatemala) y Prisma Records (España). Co-creador junto con Jose Rosales a.k.a Aq'Ab'Al de la productora Samsara Records. El nombre "Gukumatz" viene directamente del Popol Vuh. En el principio del Popol Vuh, Gukumatz se representa como a flote en el mar primordial con Tepeu. El nombre se traduce literalmente como "Quetzal Serpiente" a pesar de que se hace a menudo menos precisión "Serpiente Emplumada". Gukumatz combina las características celestiales del Quetzal con los poderes del bajo mundo de serpentina de la serpiente, dándole poder sobre todos los niveles del universo maya.
