We are honoured to present our next Institution guest mix, created for us by Brazilian DJ/Producer Leila Scheiwe. Leila’s musical journey began in 2003, when she discovered the progressive sounds of artists such as Sasha & Digweed, Dave Seaman, Nick Warren, and Hernan Cattaneo. Today, she has expanded these influences to include Guy J, Guy Mantzur and Lee Burridge. 

In addition to DJing in her home country of Brazil, Leila has begun a burgeoning production career. With original releases and remixes on Nube Music Records and BQ Recordings, she has received support from none other than El Maestro, Hernan Cattaneo! 

We first discovered Leila Scheiwe last year through her incredible podcast, “Inside Out @ Nube Music”. She truly has a gift to curate a melodic journey through her mixes; she has had us hooked ever since. 

Leila starts this gem of a mix off with one of her own tracks, and never looks back. We are sure you’ll love Institution 018: Leila Scheiwe as much as we do!

Valentina Vernaci, nacida en La Plata en 1999 a los 18 años comenzó su interés por la música electrónica lo que la llevó a comenzar sus estudios para dj en Buenos Aires, su género favorito es el progressive house y el dark progressive. Compartió cabina con grandes artistas de la escena como Manu Rodríguez, Lucas Rossi y Soulkeys. Sus principales referentes son Mariano Mellino y Kamilo Sanclemente. En este set nos trae una hora de música para bailar con diversas melodías y un groove intenso. Busca retomar sus inicios en la producción y perfeccionarse cada vez más.
