Underground Sessions 2021 Vol.3 (Continuous DJ Mix)

After 4 years and 48 sets I decided to close my first mix series Kaleidoscope. It was a great journey for me. I have learnt so much about music, mixing, artists, records labels etc during this period, but now its time for me to devote to other creative projects. That doesn’t mean that I generally want to quit mixing music. If I’ve time and feel like I won’t be able to resist to do a mix and share it with you here on my account, but not on a regular base. It would be great, if you check my account from time to time to see if there is anything new. Finally I want to thank all people, who have supported my Kaleidoscope sets so far, especially @OMIDOX, @CyTreXX, @MelissaSchwamberger and @EnzoBusch. Thank you, friends … you really made me happy!! Heute freut es mich besonders euch einen jungen Künstler aus dem hohen Norden zu präsentieren. Ein Mecklenburger Junge mit Hang zur Küste - Ostsee, Usedom, Sonneninsel. Ihr kennt das Spiel.

Seit ein paar Jahren ist Pay Kusten auf dem Meeresrausch beheimatet und veröffentlichte erste Tracks auf Sumpfsee Records und Respoal Schallware. Seitdem machte er sich auf, das Tanzen zu lehren. Er mag es mal bummeliger, mal hurtiger, mal süß und mal saftig, aber immer mit Herz.

Ohne schon vor 20 Jahren die ersten Platten gemischt zu haben, aber mit viel Liebe für den Groove, serviert der mittlerweile Hamburger verschiedene Perlen des elektronischen Buffets. Setzt euch hin oder tanzt ruhig.

Mich hat Paul vor ca. einem Jahr mal angeschrieben wann es denn mal wieder so ein Bummel-Techno Playlist gibt … weil die andere hat er jetzt schon mehrmals durchgehört. Seitdem sind wir im regen Kontakt und ich schätze gerade seinen Bummel-Techno-Sound sehr weil er es genau auf den Punkt bringt und das ist bei der Disziplin wirklich nicht einfach.

Vielen Dank Paul für diese super schön verspielten 1,5 Stunden … und euch da Draußen viel Spaß beim Bummeln ;-)

Aroop has released music on a variety of labels including Freestyle, Gamm, Basic Fingers and House of Disco. His recentTalkin Bout Life (HOD) and Kampana Classics EPs have been hugely successfully with vinyl selling out and digital EPs topping the charts.

From tropical parties and jazz nights, to house and techno clubs, Aroop has DJ'd in 5 continents and had residencies in London, Geneva and Tokyo, where he played an important part in the underground scene with hugely popular and innovative club nights absolute!!, Exposure and Culture.

Other highlights include his highly acclaimed compilation CD absolute!! Sounds From Tokyo, and an invitation to do a guest mix on Gilles Peterson's Worldwide radio show. He was also selected for the Red Bull Music Academy in Melbourne.
