One of my slower pieces, redone following recommendations. I'm not quite sure i like it, but oh well.

Cradled By Uncertainty

A more melodic, "cutscene-y" tune, a bit inspired by SH3's "A Stray Child", if i'm to be honest.

A dark, looping sound, meant to be background noise to a hellish area.

Bloated Visage

Scurrying into the communal house behind the church, the terrified girl found not a single person once again. Ironic that she was looking for salvation in the church after all this time. Inside, Lena froze in her tracks, standing in the unlit corridor; a twitchy figure, covered in grime, stared at nothing in particular a few feet ahead of her. Feeling for a nearby doorknob, she slunk into the room and, after quickly scanning the empty bedroom, slammed the door behind her. Lena dejectedly slid down the door, sitting in the cold marble floor. And wept.

Soaking In

There was no choice. Between Lena and the choir room stood two of those... beings with tied hands. Knife in hands, she made a quick cross motion and stepped in.

Not Welcome Here

Battered and bruised, the tired entourage let out a collective squeal of relief as they made a turn on the hillside and found themselves smack into a quaint little village. The waning sun bathed the roads in a reddish light as a few curious kids poked their heads out of the cottages to watch the weathered mages. Someone, somewhere, played a happy melody on a flute, but Aki's mind was too dead set on finding a soft bed to notice it.
