For Amsterdam-based @dj_leoni, rhythm is key. Through residencies at OOST (@komoost) and RRFM (@radioradiofm), and performances at key events across Europe (including past appearances at Dekmantel Selectors, Zeezout, Wildeburg and Paradigm, with slots at Dekmantel and Zeezout pencilled in for this year), she’s quickly developed her own distinctive understanding of rhythm and texture, from the deep and psychedelic, to the bright and energetic.

Patterns of Perception 98 is a perfect summation of DJ Leoni’s fascination and natural aptitude for rhythm. Exploring and interpreting a blend of both faster and half-speed selections, this set glides weightlessly between tempos and grooves; a radiant experience with both power and introspection. And as this mix patiently unfurls, we see the kaleidoscopic become physical, as rhythms and emotions melt.

Penny's curatorial expertise and long-standing dedication to the Naarm/Melbourne scene have established her as a pillar of the city's sonic landscape, and both her love of musical discovery and unmistakable influence are felt deeply from afar. 

Pjenné's mix is a enchanting trip through fields of wonder, equal parts honey and gossamer, moving and blissfully sublime. Tender hues paint the air while fervent warmth fills the aching heart. Pure Space :: DJ Paramat

A unique blend from Spclnch’s secret music library is the work of Andrey Pushkarev.

In addition to various discoveries, the artefacts closet is filled with vinyl records, an impressive collection of which are also displayed along the whole wall. There is also a wide selection on the shelves behind the shoulders of these experienced diggers, literally and figuratively. It is for this reason that the habit of handling music well is formed. An example of such a skill was the respect paid by guests with particular accents. Of course, some guests are old but gold: the DP-6 duo, sophisticated by experience, accurately constructs sound textures, maestro Basicnoise again extracts tactile forms of dub techno, and Federsen shows exactness and attention to the details of the genre.

i have been wanting to make a set like this for a while now and it was such a blessing to play this set as a closing set at one of the first outdoors of the year. 

some parts are a bit messy as my mixing has a long way to go and there were some technical difficulties with the sound; nevertheless it still felt deeply sacred, healing and personal to share <3
