Pixie`s Forest

This is another composition I worked on at the Banff Centre. Thank you to my voice coach, Dan, who helped me discover a new way of singing, as I had always performed all my songs in exactly the same style. I like to say he brought out my real voice. Recent strong studio production values also made a big difference. Originally, this piece was a folk song when I performed it live, but I always envisioned it as a more classical work. I’m delighted with my new arrangement. Thank you to my Banff Centre mentors and music mates—sorry it took me so long to accomplish this. Thank you to Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, Canada Council for the Arts | Conseil des arts du Canada, and artsnb for supporting my music journey.
