Derby’s Nikka Sev is back for the second instalment of ‘The Remix Sessions’ series, titled ‘Heer Di Doli Remix’.

The remix features the powerful vocals of the legendary Surinder Shinda, accompanied with the original music compositions of Charanjit Ahuja. The original ‘Heer Di Doli’, beautifully written by Jaswant Sandila, was released back in 1981, which then for years to come, sent shockwaves through every crevice in the Panjabi music industry. Since its release, almost 40 years ago, ‘Heer Di Doli’ has inspired some of the most prominent and respected Panjabi music producers across the world.

Like with ‘Gidhian Di Raniye Remix’, this second instalment in the series again introduces fresh original production to try and boost the greatness already laid by the original, with the hope exposing the track to a new audience.
