This Mix was made as part of a little challenge for myself where I created an Instagram Question Poll asking followers to suggest songs they wanted mixed. 

2 Songs were then chosen from the suggestions which were very different to each other and then a voting poll was created to determine a winner.

It was a very close call as Dilbar Jani won by 51% of votes.

In this mix I didn't really want to over shadow it with to much urban beats as oldschool music such as Kuldeep Manaks and Surinder Shinda should always have that element of a raw desi folk touch so there for I have used Punjabi instruments as much as I could... still keeping it FOLK, with that original folk touch by using the sounds of .

1 or 2 variation of beats in this mix .

P.S I also know that Punjabi folk music is close to a lot of peoples heart and I do not mean to ruin any classics or originals... my aim is to give it a touch of mine so I can show you what I can bring to the scene and also keep the memory of Kuldeep Manak alive and to remember Surinder Shinda as a living folk legend.
