Saadhsangat Jee we at GurmatParchar.com see it our duty to deliver the correct dates for the Gurpurbs as we believe although each and every day should be dedicated to Satguru Sahib Jees unparalled and supreme memory, we are essentially delibrately lying when we stand within Sangat and in front of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee announcing the Gurpurabs and performing Ardhasa according to the modern man-made/manmath calendar. This audio snippet is of Katha recorded over 50 years ago, just as this year the Gurpurab of Sri Guru Angad Dev Jee's Jothi Joth precedes that of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Jee by one day as is said in the katha. According to the SGPC calendar for this year Sixth Guru's Jothi Joth was on the 19th of March and Sri Guru Angad Dev Jee's on the 16th April - does this make sense? They are not only following each other in the wrong order there is nearly one month difference? Why should we be a part of this deliberate scheme to change our heritage?
