I am thrilled to present my remix of Brojanowski's "Illusions." I gave the track a bouncy and lighter twist while exploring my own sound design ideas. To enhance the experience, I also added an Alan Watts sample 😅🤪 This demanded a significant amount of time and dedication, but I am proud of the ideas and persistence that went into it. Even though I still do not feel entirely satisfied with the outcome, I realise that learning to commit to finishing is an essential skill in the early stages of audio production. I hope you enjoy listening :)

DJ/ Producer, Pascal Pierre is the pioneer of electronic music in Mauritius. 
He now performs in a live show with different musicians using vey typical instruments. The style of music is unique! It is a fusion of all the different influences that we have been exposed to over the years. The set and the symphony pieces are each very distinct pieces going from Chill out Lounge to electronic to DUB and TRIP-HOP, with a special touch relating to all the influences that exist in Mauritius, be it oriental, occidental or even African. 
Dj since 1985 and producer since 2003, Pascal has initiated and taught a great number of local DJs and producers during his 30 years in the music industry. His contribution to the musical evolution and culture as well as stage performances has been exceptional, from where the nickname GURU came from.
