Imbrasasm is a dj and producer from Kaunas, Lithuania. This mix was recorded in Opium club, Lithuania. It is a selection from David August until my own tracks. Besides music production and djing he's a very physically and socially active person, also studying medicine and expanding his knowledge in military medicine.

David Campos Torres, better known as Pumuki, fiddled with two cassette decks when he was only 10 years old, making his first mixes. He is a lover of many musical styles, since since childhood, thanks to his father, he has nurtured a good musical culture with styles such as heavy metal, reggae, rock, Italian disco and many more.
Back in 1998 his parents gave him his first and only Technics, that's when he began to fully enter the world of electronics. He started mixing hard techno, pulling for the tribal style with references like Cristian Varela, Ben Sims or Samuel L. Session.
At the age of 17 he made his debut at Liquid Dance Club where he shared the booth with Dj's of the stature as Oscar Mulero, Mónica Osmos, Raúl Parra or Toni Verdi.
From there he began to play in discos and clubs in Madrid and Toledo, including venues such as Groove or Van Vas, the latter being chosen as a finalist in the Phrenetic Society casting.
Between 1999 and 2004 he organized the mythical raves called Dê-lüxe´, being known throughout the south of Madrid and north of Toledo for organizing from an abandoned dairy farm to other secret locations or even in a truck.
By 2005 he began to experiment with other styles such as minimal or electroclash, the latter was the one that marked him for the rest of his musical career.
To this day his sessions do not cease to amaze since the line is indie, with vocals and melodies but with the electroclash spirit that marked him in his day, surprising with some eighties jewel that leaves his listeners perplexed.
After 3 years of producing, he has released releases on labels such as Melopee, Espacio Cielo, Nein among others. His productions have melancholic and vocal melodies, always within the dark disco, Indian dance or Italian line, with electroclash touches.

Maltitz (SXDNS424) is back on Midnight Operators with "Balearic Dreamdance," a sultry, six-track excursion into synthesised atmosphere. The EP maps a deliberate descent from shimmering, horizon-line melodies into the grounded, rhythmic density of a night not yet ended, breathing with a warm, tape-saturated humidity, weaving dub-inflected shadows into its sunlit origins. This is the sound of geography influencing groove – a passport stamp from a place where the air feels thick with memory, and the beat serves as the only reliable compass, guiding you from open-air reverie into the collective, moving dark. Selina’s collaboration on the trippy and energetic “Hot Summer 23 (Volos Dancing)” cannot go unmentioned.

Premiered here, the stunning "Valentines Island" emerges as a piano hymn suspended in the Mediterranean air. Its melody unfurls with a tangible, humid weight, crafting a refrain that feels less played and more remembered – a direct transmission from a 90s dance floor, dusted with salt and amber light. The arrangement builds with a patient, wave-like certainty, wrapping the listener in a specific, communal warmth. This is the sound of a moment crystallised: bare feet on warm tile, the collective rise of a crowd, and the enduring echo of a simple, perfect chord progression holding the night together.

BIO:
The Icelandic band Gus Gus originally spawned from a shortcut made by Siggi Kjartansson and Stefán Árni (a.k.a. Arni & Kinski) called “Pleasure”. Initially the band was acclaimed as an avant-garde collective of musicians, producers, filmmakers and performers. They mixed together different mediums to create a unique mixture of sound and vision. Their trademark style is combined with funky bass, streamlined synths and the intelligent use of technology and art. Árni & Kinski did the visual part and the musical side was driven by Birgir Þórarinsson (a.k.a. Veiran), Stephan Stephenssen (a.k.a President Bongo), Magnús Guðmundsson (a.k.a. Herb Legowitz). The live band was fronted by singers Daníel Ágúst, Hafdís Huld and Magnús Jónsson (a.k.a. Blake).

Gus Gus is an electronic soul band formed in 1995. A short break in a making of the shortcut made it possible for the first Gus Gus self-titled album to be born. In 1996 the band signed to 4AD Records that released their widely acclaimed second album “Polydistortion”. "This Is Normal" followed in 1999 and finally "Gus Gus vs T-World" appeared in 2000. During the 4AD years, Gus Gus started touring massively, stirring the music world with their powerful live-show. The touring life was stressful for the nine some and eventually called for changes within the line up. Six original members left and the three remaining producers (Veiran, President Bongo and Herb Legowitz) soon found hope in a new female singer, Earth aka Urður Hákonardóttir. The band has ever since focused on being a musical entity. 

In 2002 Gus Gus re-appeared with their 4th studio album "Attention" which includes their most successful dance floor hit “David”. On the album the band teamed up with the legendary producer Gareth Jones and Finnish multi-instrumentalist Jimi Tenor. The album demonstrates a sharply focused club-band full of creativity and even more energetic than ever. Daníel Ágúst
