Afterlife and Tale Of Us are proud to announce ‘Realm Of Consciousness’, a 10-piece compilation
expanding the Afterlife totality into a label. The label and events will complement each other with one
aim; to bring the crowd into another dimension of music perception with enthralling production to that
ignite the senses.
The ‘Realm Of Consciousness’ voyage commences with Tale Of Us’ Lies - a fitting introduction with
quivering keys and restrained percussion that engenders an ominous suspense ahead of Monoloc’s
enigmatic industrial techno crunch, Phoenix. Shifting through the haunting chords of Recondite’s dynamic
Murphy’s Law, to the brooding synth of Poseidon by Ukrainian duo Woo York, the realisation of Afterlife
utopia is upon us. The repetitive, mesmerising synth and effective reverb that Somne creates with Triangle
is an odyssey within itself. From there, John Hester’s expertly woven ‘Logan’ is a feverish techno stab that
transverses through the emotional senses, transitioning to Locked Groove’s adroitly crafted Emeralds, to
Ryan James Ford’s ambient, albeit percussive, techno cut Toree Bahrstad. Die Wiederkehr is the outcome
of Obscure Shape & SHDW’s collaboration, which incorporates facets of techno and trance that have
been shaped with real guile and finesse. Mind Against round off the compilation with Gravity - a
mystifying ambience and a fitting title as we touch back down to planet earth.

Edu Imbernon's Eklektisch welcomes Rafael Cerato (Diynamic, Suara, Stil Vor Talent) back to the family this October and he's joined by two in-form remixers in Polymath founder Third Son and São Paulo titan Victor Ruiz. Brazilian producer Ruiz turns in a monster rework of 'Mirrors Of Life', he's crafted a nine minute epic, which builds from a brooding intro to an arpeggiator-laden crescendo around the six minute mark. He closes with an uplifting synth-driven section that is sure to raise many a roof.  It's a journey in the true sense of the word. Check it out only on When We Dip today!

On his sixth album, The Arc of Tension, the Berlin based DJ, label owner and producer OLIVER KOLETZKI yet again presents his remarkable vision of contemporary electronic music, while he assumes the role of a storyteller. The Arc of Tension speaks to its listener as a singular, self contained work, which communicates by way of its natural flow and arc of suspense. The latter is mirrored not only in the multifarious narrative of the actual album, but can also be understood as evidence for its creator's long musical history. 'Planetarium' exemplifies, moreover, that a fusion of delicate musicality and sheer force leads to impressively ecstatic results. Techno meets Tech House in Transcode and Fideles’ latest work, a split release that sees each act put forth three original tracks packed with dancefloor heat.

UK forerunner Transcode initiates the journey with Magnetic Empathy, an attractive slice of subtle weaved Techno tension. Complementing its subdued nuance is Flutter, which unravels an array of arpeggiated strings, building up a slow paced yet a highly strained chunk of Tech House goodness. The most aggressive piece of Transcode’s triptych, Supremacy summons a dark and cavernous ambiance. A white noise dotted intro launches into a highly strung and progressively riveting Techno burner.

On the flipside, Innervisions alum Fideles channel their multi-layer productive chops kicking off with L’Alba. The main focal element is an ascending cluster of whirl winding synths. Tyred exposes a restrained bassline that stays constant throughout the track. What inspires is the sparkling melody crafted out of varying layers of bells and chimes.

Soft percussion announces Wired Mind, while swarms of dainty synths make up the melody. The track's uplifting riff creates an introspective mood, a fitting finale for an EP filled with club weapons.
