From Another Mind first started as a South German party series but soon evolved into a fully fledged label run by SHDW & Obscure Shape. Now it operates as a label and for the fourth release, they've invited a high-profile techno squadron to remix some of their tracks.

Artists like Rødhåd, Dax J, Konstantin Sibold and Ryan James Ford have all offered up their own high-octane and emotive re-imaginings of the duo's tracks but today we feature Tale of Us & Mind Against's edit.

Their remix of 'Die Weiße Rose' is a piledriving techno behemoth, one suited for dark, dank warehouses. Its synths zap across the forefront while venomous kicks thump away in the background.

It's the sort of demonic, mutant-energy track we've come to expect from both sets of producers and we're fairly certain it's going to explode. Check it out exclusively below.

Acclaimed acts such as Hunter/Game, Mathew Jonson, Recondite and Woo York are amongst a wealth of ability in the likes of Aether, Denis Horvat, Keith Carnal, Per:sona, Black Peters, Darse and Mathame. Joris Voorn returns with another sterling release on his Green label. I Ran The Zoo is a lesson in stripped-back contrast and subtlety, with an acidic groove bleeping away over driving percussion and delicate atmospherics in its Digital Version, the tension growing with every thud of the kick drum. A dizzying breakdown raises the bar with snare rolls and dramatic pads, with the wide-open space therein soon sucked back into the void when the beat drops back in.

Meanwhile the special Analog Version harks back to Joris’ techno sound of old. The throbbing kick and bass and acid blips are set against rising, white-noise drenched synth swells and simple percussion to create something moody and tough yet teasingly pared back.

These two heads-down mixes make this release a stark contrast to some of his more melodic, riff-fuelled releases of late, once again demonstrating Joris' endless versatility and shape-shifting abilities.

Four years after his standout Truesoul debut, Cristoph returns with a trio of peak-time weapons. 

Cristoph’s last contribution to Truesoul, ‘Genesis’ / ‘Exodus’, was a masterstroke of deft dancefloor dynamics, imbued with the right balance of polished low-end groove, licks of melody and pin-sharp drums that epitomised his high production standards. To many, both tracks stand as highlights in the imprint’s canon of releases. As such Adam Beyer remained in regular contact with the impressive UK artist, with a follow-up release in mind.

‘Consequence of Society Vol. X’ is his latest contribution and maintains the high bar set. ‘Sleepless Nights’ is driven by an emotive bassline melody and stirring orchestral break and is made for peak-time moments. A fact confirmed by Eric Prydz when he dropped it at Coachella last year during a rousing performance as Cirez D. ‘Starcourt’ is plucky and propulsive, its deep grooves injected with bags of energy thanks to a persistent synth riff that runs throughout. Like its 
predecessor, ‘Hawkins’ reinforces Cristoph’s love of Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’ and navigates the EP home with uplifting arpeggios and crisp production techniques.
