This is a conceptual mix, reflecting the 42 years I've just managed to survive on earth. Tried picking one record from each year that had an impact throughout my journey (maybe not at the very moment of it's release, but still) and put them into a continuous mix. Some, especially the elder ones, have quite some surface noise on them, but so has life. Recorded in Vienna on 2x Technics SL-1210 MKII and 1x Pioneer DJM-800.

Audimat Editions & Sans Soleil viennent de publier Guerre Sonore, le manifeste de Steve Goodman, mieux connu comme producteur & DJ post-dubstep sous le pseudo Kode 9, et directeur du label Hyperdub. Il sera en conférence A/V le 11 octobre au Point FMR et en conversation avec Chris Cyrille, François Bonnet et Claire Martinet. Une playlist qui plonge dans les inspirations et résonances musicales de sa théorie en faveur d'un "matérialisme de la basse" et d'une "politique des fréquences" !
