Where I describe one of Lewis' most interesting days with nature on the Lewis & Clark Expedition.  Note in beginning, I mention they have been on the expedition for 6mo.  It is in fact going on two years since Lewis first left Washington D.C.  They begin going up the Missouri River in May 1804- a year prior to Lewis' nature encounters.
