Herz Aus Stein

The imaginary soundtrack to the state of the world as it is, as we perceive it. Full of opposites, contrasts, positive and negative particles that repel and attract each other, the more and less of the distribution of goods and wealth. Now is that more forty-two or more twenty-three?

On the one hand: 
Fragile electronics meets noisy loops. Synthesizer pads and knob twiddling on the effects boxes. Melodies: post-something; groove: dub-inspired and four-to-the-floor; here and there: a dirty rock bass riff in A. Trumpets and steel drum, baritone sax, and why not just grab the recorder, always works in disco.

On the other side:
One-two-three-four, reduced, raw, minimalist, distorted, minimalist - also punk rock with statement to Lützerath incl. state violence and guitar. And in between jazzy tones and a lonely trombone, here and there a stray loop followed by technoid groove including synthie bubbling, you know... 

Anyone expecting categorization, needing pigeonholes, feel free to let us know.... Pff Jazz...

Endlich: Das zweite Album von Leonie singt. Fünf Jahre nach dem Debüt erscheint nun das Album Horizont der bildenden Künstlerin und Musikerin Leonie Felle und ihrer Band.
5 lange Jahre dauerte die Fahrt für Leonie Felle und ihrer Mitstreiter von den tiefen, dunklen See, die das erste Cover zierte (eine Fotografie von Leonie) bis hin zum Horizont, dem neuen Album. Leonie Felle: Der Titelsong »Horizont« handelt vom Verlust des Gleichgewichts und dem Versuch, es wieder zu erlangen. Der Horizont ist für mich die Balance. Im Lied ist die Balance gekippt. Der Schwerpunkt und die Mitte sind verloren gegangen.”Viele von Leonie Felles Arbeiten als Bildende Künstlerin entstehen aus ihren Songs oder werden durch diese ergänzt. Auch bei dem Titelsong »Horizont« ist das der Fall (siehe: leonie-felle.de/horizont). Die dazugehörige Arbeit besteht aus dem Text des Liedes, einem alten Holzruder und einer Fotografie – ein Selbstportrait mit diesem Ruder. Eine Variation davon ist das Cover, das gemeinsam mit Schlagzeuger Sascha Schwegeler (G.Rag y los Hermanos Patchekos) realisiert wurde.
Das Album Horizont wurde vom französischen Musiker Fred Raspail (ebenfalls Gutfeeling-Künstler) aufgenommen, produziert und gemixt. Herausgekommen ist dabei ein deutsch- und englischsprachiges Singer-Songwriter-Album, das zwischen den Häfen Folk, Indie & Chanson hin und her kreuzt. Am Steuer Leonie Felle mit ihrer wunderschönen dunklen Stimme und ihrer Lyrik, die mindestens melancholisch, oft dunkel und traurig daherkommt. Aber hey, ist da nicht ein Hoffnungsschimmer am Horizont?
Ihre Crew, um bei den nautischen Begrifflichkeiten zu bleiben, besteht aus dem erwähnten Sascha Schwegeler am Schlagzeug, dem Fotografen und Regisseur und Leonies Lebensgefährten Hagen Keller an der Gitarre und Jakob Egenrieder, ebenfalls bildender Künstler am Bass.
Gutfeeling ist stolz diese Familienangelegenheit zu veröffentlichen, denn alle der Beteiligten Künstler und Musiker sind fester Bestandteil der Label-Familie.
