UK Bass Music favourite, Deekline (aka Nick Annand), is a man of a mission. An original hero of the 90s London Garage scene, Deekline first tasted crossover success in 1999, with his UK Garage anthem ‘Don’t Smoke’ that peaked at no.11 in the UK singles chart, a dizzying high for such a raw underground club record. This resulted in a hilarious performance on the UK’s no.1 music TV show: Top of The Pops, with a slew of London's leading pirate radio MCs, cementing Deekline’s legendary status in the process.
 
Since those heady days, Deekline has continued to and push his unique bass music sound forward; rising to the top of each genre he has worked in: from Breakbeat Garage, Booty Breaks, to Ragga Jungle. All whilst working an incredible list of global talent, from UK dons: Wiley, DJ Fresh, Ed Solo, to international legends: DJ Assault, FreQ Nasty, and Fast Eddie.
 
After a hectic 2013 schedule, that included everything from headling the dance stage at Glastonbury (with a set so good even Mick Jagger registered his approval), to sell-out tours across North America and Russia. Now the hardest working man in UK Bass Music, has found time to launch exciting new label project: Gutter Gutter.
 
The first release on Gutter Gutter is double a-side single 'Clap Your Handz Ft. DJ Assault / Deepa' - a clear statement of intent that proves Deekline will always innovate, and never imitate. 

Clap Your Handz is a ghetto house banger, with minimal beats, low slung bass groove, and infectious rap by legendary Detroit artist DJ Assault. 
 
Sure to be a hit with fans of labels such as Dirtybird and Food Music, house music in 2013 does not get much better than this.

On Deepa, Deekline ventures into unexplored '2 Step meets Hardcore' territory. The results of this explosive old skool soundclash, with top notch 2013 production skills, hypnotic groove, and rave vocal, results in something truly groundbreaking. This fresh sound will appeal to all manner of house, garage, and bass DJs.
 
Keep an eye on future Gutter Gutter releases as Deekline take us on a ride sampling the best global bass sounds, that are smashing up clubs from Miami to Moscow, and everywhere else in between.

Shiftin Beatz are back again and we are kicking off the new year in serious style! We've got together with Eazy and chose a select few of his massive catalogue of 2013 releases to be reworked by a select few artists that are currently taking the jump up dnb scene by storm. With a little flavour for everyone this is the ep you've all been waiting for. Containing reworks of some of the biggest jump up anthems of 2013. You've heard them out live, nows the time to grab them for yourself. Dropping on Monday 13th January 2014 this is a serious contender of a release, which will ensure us all at Shiftin Beatz HQ to go even harder as the year draws on.

Not wanting to miss out on the action, Eazy decided that as well as get some boys in for the job, he'd also like to work his magic over a couple of his own works for some VIP business! First off sees the already huge 'Gun Driller' getting stripped down and reworked to make it that little bit harder.  Incorporating them same samples from famous British cinema he builds us up leading us to believe we know what we're in for, but when the drop hits us we soon see, this is by no means the same track from back when Shiftin Beatz dropped their first ever release last yea, this is a much more aggressive, steppy and downright dominant piece of production. Absolutely destroys any dancefloor it touches. If you've heard this one out then you know! Eazy showing us yet again why he is becoming a force to be reckoned with within the world of jump up drum and bass.

The new dirtybird compilation is loaded with 11 great tunes I have been collecting for over 6 months. Most notably, the Shiba San "OKAY" record has absolutely been destroying every dance floor known to man. We have lots of big birds like Justin Martin, Catz ‘N Dogz & Justin Jay on this, plus a ton of great newcomers and friends making appearances.

The dirtybird BBQ was founded as a small get together in Golden Gate Park thirteen years ago. We've had the same core line-ups and even the same chef, Grillson, since the beginning.  But three years ago, the free party in the park got too big and our permit was pulled.  The city of San Francisco could no longer handle the amount of people showing up to the event.  

Ever since then we have been trying to think of way to bring back the vibe of the BBQ park party. This year we finally put together a team that is able to take the BBQ party all across North America and Europe. We will be starting in Miami and ending in San Francisco so make sure to come grill and chill with us sometime this year. This compilation is a celebration of the O.G. dirtybird BBQ vibe.   I hope you enjoy the music.
