Since her 2021 debut, Mexico-born, Melbourne-based DULCE has spent her time crafting her sound within some of Melbournes most well-known entertainment venues. Her sound encompasses deep and soulful melodies whilst always maintaining a perpetual, sensual groove. Mystical, shamanic rhythms form her core collection, with a mix of deep, afro, tribal house and indie dance. Dulce always maintains her Latino culture as a base, with influences of her second home’s (Australia) vibrant electronic music scene. Dulce describes her musical performance as a bridge to connect and express her soul spirit.

DISTRIKT has been a beloved camp where I've made countless memories over the years. The setup and sound system were totally mind-blowing, taking the crowd's energy to a whole new level. RYBO - DISTRIKT - Burning Man 2023

This live mix is based on some of the synths and sounds that most inspire me.  Deep, broody but uplifting.  To soften and brighten things I've added many of my own drum, bongo and percussion layers.  I love the juxtoposition of huge beautiful synths (sometimes dark sounding) and warm organic percussion.  This mix will take you deep with some big synth sounds, huge drops and and deliver you back to the light with some uplifting and positive melodies at the end.  Enjoy.

Originally released in 2009, this standout remix package followed the release of Steve Bug’s fourth full artist album, Collaboratory, which dropped earlier that year to widespread acclaim. The album captured Steve’s dedication to forward-thinking house music, teaming up with a stellar cast of collaborators including Gigi, Donnacha Costello, and Simon Flower.
Collaboratory Remixes Vol.1 brought fresh interpretations from Ribn, Motor City Drum Ensemble, and Sven Tasnadi, and still holds up today.

Ribn (aka Manuel Tur and Langenberg) deliver a deep, dubby, Detroit-tinged take on “Like It Should Be” featuring Gigi. Their Translucent Vox Remix builds with patience, drawing you in with a long, atmospheric intro before locking into a driving, bass-led groove that honors Gigi’s sultry vocals.

Motor City Drum Ensemble brings the heat with a raw house twist on “Still Music,” the Bug and Costello collaboration. Loaded with late 80s and early 90s drum machine attitude and bubbling keys, it’s an acid-tinged workout that still burns.
Sven Tasnadi rounds things out with a tight, tracky remix of “Passing Clouds” (Bug and Simon Flower), fusing melancholic synth lines with solid drums and a modern tech-house edge.

Christopher Mohn and Reagan Denius aka Dance  Spirit have built their own sound with a focus of rhythm, timbre, melody and movement as their driving force – a sound that has lead them to many of the worlds leading festivals, a list that includes Coachella,  Desert  Hearts, Piknik Electonik, City  Fox, Lightning in a Bottle and Sacbe. They’ve been signed to record labels Bedrock, Kindisch, Culprit, Akbal Music, Superfreq and more, and they have just signed an EP to Get Physical. Indeed, the Flying Circus residents are slowly becoming a name you can’t ignore.

As this mix showcase, their sound is one that is deep, affecting and stomping all at the same time. This is proper underground sounds which will impress.

On July 20th we set off on a boat from North Station in Moscow to a magical event on an island 60km outside of the city.  

Some of my favorite artists were playing including including Lee Burridge, Acid Pauli, The Mayan Warrior crew with Mandrake and Dramian, my homies from NYC Lovecraft and Cristian Voldstad, Alvaro Suarez and MOM and Geju, Doyeq and Agraba/Azamat (who I nominate for best set of the night).

Papaya Playa Project Tulum: Cuando Calienta El Sol

Gutto Serta is a musician, producer and DJ Berlin-based. Since childhood, he always displayed a keen interest in all things musical and a desire to develop an understanding of several musical instruments. His taste blends organic and digital sounds, the overall effect is a musical vision that speaks to the soul of its listeners. From the past 10 years he had the opportunity to perform at great venues in his home country Brazil and other cities such as London, Berlin and Ibiza. He already had support by Solomun, Axel Bartsch, Tim Green and H.O.S.H among others. He’s constantly developing his music, bringing a mix of deep, techno and minimal sub genres.
