I finally had the chance to stand in the dj-booth at my favorite club again! This time I played on sunday evening from 10 - 2 ... I really love the people and atmosphere at this magical place and it's always a special experience to be there! :)

You can't hear his guitar on the last track because the record of the line was cut by something still unknown at this day. 
It's really too bad because Pablo was crazy on this track, now it sounds a little bit empty sorry.

You might notice an overdriven sound in parts of the set. I'm very sorry for this. As I always pay close attention to avoid any red lights on the mixer, I assume that something went wrong behind my mixer. Unfortunately, I was not able to use my own recording device, as record-out was alienated. ;-/ I hope you enjoy it anyway.

🗯🗯 How Did Corona change your artist life? 🗯🗯

Corona has been a very weird time for me. The first few months of the lockdown I actually played more than I did before because I got invited to do a ton of streams. However it is obviously not the same as playing in front of a crowd at all. So even though that felt odd or not as satisfying as standing in front of a full dance floor some very surprising and positive things came of that.

The streams gave people access to experience a ‚live set‘ that wouldn’t have had that otherwise and are usually mainly stuck to Soundcloud sets. I even got messages from people saying they are hoping that streams will continue even after the pandemic as they live in areas that are far off any clubs. On top of that I also got messages from people saying how much it helped and encouraged them in this difficult time. One even from a nurse working in a corona ward, that one actually moved me to tears. 

🗯🗯 Where did you record the mix and how did you feel? 🗯🗯

At home, feeling a bit chilly, realizing autumn is coming and dreaming of better days.

🗯🗯 What are your wishes for the time after Corona? 🗯🗯

I hope that Corona instills a new sense of appreciation for what we have and what freedom we enjoy. Also to understand how much work goes into creating the clubs and parties we all love and have taken for granted. This is already happening with the few events that are taking place  here in Berlin and I hope it continues on once the pandemic is over.

Unsere nächste Lockdown-Gästin @MonaMoore kommt ursprünglich aus München, hat es aber nach Berlin geschafft und hier nun vor 7 Jahren ihre neue Heimat gefunden. Das freut uns natürlich, da wir sie somit hier hinter den Decks und auf dem Floor treffen können. Seit nun mehr 20 Jahren ist Mona passionierte Liebhaberin der Elektronischen Musik, so musste es ja früher oder später dazu kommen, dass sie sich auch mal hinter den Mixer wagt. Ihr Debut an den Decks feierte sie 2018 in "ihrem Wohnzimmer" wie sie den Kater Blau nennt. Auch außerhalb von Berlin hat Mona Moore schon die Floors mit ihrem deepen, groovigen Techno zum kochen gebracht. Im Interview spricht sie von ihren ersten Erfahrungen als DJ, von Empathie und darüber, dass Diversität übers Booking hinaus gehen sollte.
