Defying trends while being perfectly in tune with the times is not a feat that comes easy. @jiminxir (pronounced Jimi Noir) makes it seem like it is. His spell-binding voice and remarkable talent as a songwriter comes with a unique sonic vision that puts the 21-year-old in a league of his own. 

Upon graduating from the Red Bull Music Academy in 2013, the New York-based artists has unleashed a series of astounding tunes - each decidedly singular - making us expect big things from his upcoming 'GXLD' EP. His cut "Since September" is a self-produced, sultry fall hit that has the power to act as substitute for the fireplace on those cold nights.

Who are these guys, you ask? Two supremely talented DJ/Producers from Germany (where else?). Bespoke Musik connected to these fine gents through a mutual friend, Luis Rosenberg, who graced us with his fantastic, thoughtful, intricate, intelligent and thoroughly gorgeous mix last year... Creating a lush, rich soundscape that weaves in and out of various genres with ease throughout this nearly 2 hour mix, Philipp and Max produce what we already consider one of the finest, freshest and most creative mixes we've featured.

Bio:

Both having roots in Western Germany (or Nordrheinwestfalen, if you’re able to pronounce that), Philipp Fein and Max Schmitt found ancient techno Mecca Cologne to be their chosen home. It’s in that city where they started fruitful collaborations with like-minded beings as Johannes Klingebiel, Alma & Mater, and not least... each other. Products of said collaborations are various and colorful, be it music (of course), underground warehouse raves (the most sought after in the city), labels (namely "Ancient Future Now" and "Feines Tier“), or the opening of a new club (which will happen very soon). Keep your ears peeled for them.

Round two...

My second year at Burning Man. This time, I was a bit more relaxed 
because I knew what I was getting myself into - well at least that's 
what I thought. I quickly realized that this year seemed somehow similar 
but also very different to my experience from last year - very hard to 
explain why, so I won't even start trying. I guess this is one of the 
reasons, why people keep coming back - you simply can't explain, and you 
don't have to. Everything is so overly fascinating here. This time I 
played the bus during the day, which was perfect because those daytime 
sets are my favourite. After a long rest and a healthy breakfast... just 
kidding, it was a cereal bar and a vodka orange, I left my camp to find 
the bus - I didn't right away actually, which made me a bit nervous - 
fortunately tho, I had the honour to play after Lee Burridge, which 
usually means that there are lots of people. So I just had to figure out 
where the crowd was headed and follow them, the perfect plan. It was 
boiling hot, and I got my first sunburn at burning man – oh right, plus 
I did play some music as well :). What can i say, it was simply 
fantastic - the vibe, the people. I'm really thankful for the opportunity.
