Inspired by blues and rock ‘n roll, Mr. Guy Fox brings his own roots and folksongs with a genuine sense of stage performance. He puts down a powerful show in which he takes you to a world where strange stories surprise you and nothing is what it seems. During his days as a student in The Netherlands, Sjoerd van Hulst, the man behind Mr. Guy Fox, spent his spare time gigging in local bars and at events. The actual awareness that music is his burning passion, came during an exchange period in Norway. The extremely cold Scandinavian climate forced him to spend a lot of time indoors. This inspired him to start writing his own acoustic songs. When the sun broke through again, he decided to perform his newly written songs on the streets of Oslo. The artist “Mr. Guy Fox” was born!

After returning to the Netherlands, he completely dedicated his life to singing and playing the guitar. And it is proving it’s worth: during the last six months he won multiple talent shows, such as “School of Hidden Talent”, “Kippenvel” and “Wanderlust Eurogig”. Also, he successfully toured through Germany in the spring of 2015 and he played on the internationally renowned Festival Mundial. What’s more, Mr. Guy Fox financed his own debut album through a successful crowdfunding campaign. The album, titled Stories & Metaphors, was then recorded and officially released in November 2015.
