Haunting, ethereal, emotive, propulsive Guy Gerber and Diddy’s long-awaited collaborative album project 11 11 will at last be revealed to the public for free this Summer...Beginning with a preview of their track My Heart.

At once a meeting of two worlds, and yet also a dismissal of those signifiers, 11 11 inverts the recent dialogue between the worlds of hip-hop and electronic music, eschewing simple radio friendly factory fare, for darker, richer, deeper soundscapes. 11 11 is not a project aimed at main-stages and masses, but outliers and after-hours.

WhoMadeWho - Heads Above (Kollektiv Turmstrasse Remix) [Shanti Moscow Radio 002]

Nuno dos Santos’ boutique label SoHaSo (shorthand for Something Happening Somewhere; although, sadly the same can no longer be said of Trouw) has been cruising steadily for the best part of two years now, but "Tonii" might just be the best thing committed to wax yet. Love Over Entropy's 12m original is sturdy with bright flourishes throughout, forever climbing and searching without resolve; techy without, y'know, being techy. 

This retouch comes from none other than Innervisions' main man, although  less overtly lovelorn than we've come to expect. He  twists the lead melody into something resembling a steel pan drum, backed by laser-guided synths pinging all around: a festival-sized breakdown held just at the precipice, never fully cresting. Dixon, you big tease.

Jonas himself stated “I was so happy when Tiga asked me to remix ’Blondes Have More Fun’! I love the original and I felt that the vocals were perfect to work with. I didn’t have too long to turn it around in between touring! But it all came together so quickly and I’m super happy with the way it came out. Hardy percussion, acid blips and pulses meld together to form a bolshy, no-frills remix. Greek artist Detlef shot into the limelight in recent years with releases and remixes on labels like Hot Creations, Relief, Knee Deep In Sound, Moon Harbour, and Defected.
