Our 'Good Morning from ...' Guest Mix series will explore different artists from all around the world as they take us on a journey with their distinct and unique sounds that they'll showcase to represent their taste, surroundings and upbringing.

We’re travelling to Israel’s cultural capital for the latest early morning story, and we’re visiting a place of pure energy, hedonism and diversity.

Tel Aviv is a unsung place of perpetual renewal, the early morning sun brings with it the beautiful blooming of flowers and the consisent flow of people hopping from one party to the next. From the celeb-laden sands of Metzitzim Beach in the north, down to the no-frills chill of Alma Beach bordering Jaffa in the south, there’s always something new to find in this beautiful landscape. 

No stranger to this city is Guy Maayan, who’s found a petite bistro for us to sit and enjoy the early morning rays of sun, where we exchange stories with a coffee in hand… Good Morning from Tel Aviv

The years keep marching on, the world keeps turning, and the memories keep coming.

This specific memory is from American Brazilian musician Nehli, who delivers four original tracks on his ‘Memories’ EP.

Floaty, euphoric, and anchored in driving percussion, Nehli opens the project with the titular track, on which he uses soaring keys and synth pads to create a dreamy, progressive cut. 

Melodies twirl through the layered production, building over five minutes to their final resolution. 

The opener is followed up with the heavier, more melancholy Omni, with touching chord movements and a driving bassline. The feeling is nostalgic and straight from the heart.

The third track Astres comes complete with chunky drums and rolling bass synths, delivering a slice of dancefloor-ready dance heat.

On the final cut, Solstice, the emery continues to build, as Nehli and Hena serve up a slice of swooning melodic house, complete with glittering synths and swinging drums.

And it wouldn’t be an Everything Will Be OK release without a package of remixes, which this time come from Greg Ocham, Peve, and Guy Maayan, who all put their stamp on Nehli’s original cuts.

Sabo's record label Sol Selectas presents a solo organic house EP by Guy Maayan that has Balearic vibes and Middle Eastern influence.

Guy Maayan has been a Sol Selectas regular who has featured a track on six of the label's compilations, and also delivered a remix for the imprint, but this three-track release is his first solo EP. The release showcases his ability to combine natural tones of organic sounds with electronic drums and magical synth lines.

Not only has Guy Maayan been a core member of the Sol Selectas family, but he has also featured his enchanting style on other respected outlets such as Shango Records, 3000 Grad Records, • kosa •, Baikal Nomads and Akbal Music.

The live instrumentation on this release is a trademark of Guy Maayan's delectable take on organic house.

"Niache" is the first track on the release, and it opens proceedings with upbeat tribal percussion that creates invigorating energy. Bird sounds and flourishing trumpets combine with funky guitar licks, but it's the uplifting female vocal that gives the track its main focal point.

"Uplaya" is second on the release, and it's got a hypnotic bassline underpinning flowing organic percussion. Hazy trumpets and psychedelic synths give this track a trippy vibe, while vibrant melodies create a feel-good mood.

The EP is closed by its title track "Light in the Sky" which has churning percussion and acid synth chords laying a foundation for sweeping Arabic strings. Warped flutes and other hallucinatory sounds add to the immersive atmosphere of this laid-back slice of organic house.

Helia's cover art is another glimmer of the psychedelic dance of the Yin and Yang, the light and dark, the melting circus of wild horses and mysterious snakes.

Orange is a band founded in 1999, they are from Kempten, Deutschland.The band consists of five persons and since 2003 they're releasing different kind of stuff like Dub, Tribal, Experimental, Trance, Electro and World stuff. They've released 7 albums so far and Weirdo is taken from their last album "Zen Zero" released in June 2018 for 36music. The original track is a wicked stuff of rollin Tribal Electronic stuff with World influences.
