Back on Tech House’s most in demand label, it’s a debut release from French DJ Tony Cortez with ‘Aqui’. 

An artist whose been bubbling in the scene for a hot minute, Tony Cortez has grafted his way through residencies and VIP parties since a young age. After emigrating to the UK & with a burning passion for all things House music, Tony Cortez’s style as a DJ has been influenced by the tougher sounding UK House scene which has in turn, pumped up his own releases.

This is prevalent on his Trax debut ‘Aqui’, a pure fire cut of Tech House energy, emanating a vivid summer vibe throughout which echoes back those warm open air terrace parties we wish could happen all year round. London based DJ and producer Guy Mac is an emerging artist in the house and techno scene, with releases on Hot Creations, Black Book Records, elrow Music, DFTD and more. Producing from an early age, he has refined a signature sound across a string of standout releases. 

His Hot Creations debut EP “Sonic Boom” was championed by Jamie Jones in his sets and received widespread support on release, including BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, Sarah Story, and Danny Howard. He debuted on Chris Lake’s Black Book Records as part of the IDs series with a house cut “Babba”. Following this, his collaboration with Murphy’s Law “Passion” on DFTD, earned significant support from artists like Carlita, Groove Armada, and Confidence Man, surpassing 1 million streams and cementing his reputation for crafting infectious dancefloor anthems. Recent highlights include releasing on elrow Music and a return to Black Book with a standalone two track EP “Divine Call / Space Bang”, that has received widespread support and international coverage across Ibiza and beyond throughout the summer.
