I just listened to the album "Stet" and am amazed. Something really new without hurting the ear. Avoiding repetition as much as possible. A great job (and a lot to learn for everyone, too). The music world needs much more of this type of solution.-

Sophie - Bipp (Tielsie Remix)

This piece for string orchestra was a commission for the Trinity Laban String Ensemble. It's based on the poem 'Transfigured Night' by Richard Dehmel, and was written as an accompanying piece to Schoenberg's 'Verklärte Nacht'. This was recorded at Blackheath Halls, played by the Trinity Laban String Ensemble.

Inspired by the paintings of Agnes Martin, which often feature a precise grid over a background of soft, watered-down colour, 'grey bird' explores the use of line and texture. Static chords are juxtaposed with washes of sound, sonically emulating the visual features of the paintings. 'grey bird' takes its title from a simple drawing of a grid by the artist. 
 
Played by the Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Diego Masson.

Whoever coughed at the end will be found and punished accordingly.
