Light In The Dark - Collaboration with Martin L. --- "Likewyse"

This now is the fourth track of my Jungle Series in collaboration with @msafirizawose from Tanzania,
son of legendary Hukwe Zawose whose music you'll find on Peter Gabriel's @realworldrecords.
He is very keen on preserving the rich cultural heritage of his "Wagogo" tribe while also opening up to the modern music of the "West".

Walking Toward Light

The initial idea came around the first of June when my wife got me a new Focusrite audio interface and I wanted to record some sounds as opposed to sounds in the  box.  I was wanting try something besides triadic modulations around different key centers and started messing around with harmonic minor.  It's a simple AABA idea that took about two months to flesh out.  I've been more concerned with absorbing theory idea and getting my fingers to translate these ideas better, but I'd still tinker with this song here and there.  Figured out transitions over the last couple of weeks and finished it up last night.  Hope you enjoy!
